WashingtonAfter years and years of taking it in the shorts by moderate Republicans, John McCain has decided to pick Joe Lieberman as his Vice Presidential running mate. This move breaks a long standing history of Republican tradition, and throws the Republican Party into utter chaos.
The move, made after months of pandering to the left, is all part of the McCain strategy to reach out to Democrats and feed his out of control ego. The McCain camp had thought long and hard about selecting Hillary Clinton, but agreed that making that move might be going too far. So, the Lieberman choice was a virtual compromise to his otherwise maverick behavior.
You see, McCain fired, this is my election. Bush stole what was rightfully mine. And were doing it my way. Understand! Its all about me!
Many conservative talk radio hosts have been outspoken, noting that since McCain is no conservative, he should at least pick a conservative for his Vice Presidential candidate. The Lieberman pick is a move that is giving those conservatives a fickle finger of fate.
I cant believe he did this, yelled a perturbed Mark Levin. This loserand thats what he is, a losercouldve picked a conservative for four years down the road. But he can forget about my vote! You hear me, McCain. Youre as out of control as the Supreme Court!
After his Marxist behavior on CEOs, quipped Limbaugh, this really doesnt surprise me at all. Hes been trying to stick it to the Republican Party since 2000. We are so screwed, and I cant overstate that enough!
The ninth ring of hell is devoted to John McCain, blasted Ann Coulter. He is a despicable, spineless jellyfish, and I cant wait to see him burn!
I dont give a rats behind as to what Levin, Limbaugh, Coulter or Free Republic says, belted a pissed McCain. I have a spot on my left, lower cheek for all of them to kiss. So bend over and kiss it!
Despite the comments from many conservatives, it has become obvious that Senator McCain is not a conservative, nor will he ever be, and any hopes beyond this primary season is just that
hope.
Thanks for reading, SkyDancer. I appreciate it.
It's satire.
Thanks for reading, VRWC. I do appreciate it.
Nothing would surprise me this year either. Thanks for reading, Shortstop. I appreciate it.
Thanks for reading, Spunky. I appreciate it.
Thought for a minute it was a “not satire” post. LOL
1) He's a “moderate” Democrat compared to Obama and Clinton. This makes McCain look like he can reach across the aisle to reasonable Democrats.
2) He's a pro-war Democrat. That will appeal to the Reagan Democrats.
3) He's a popular New England politician. Shores up support in a weak Republican region.
4) He's pro-Israel and Jewish. Brings in some moderate Jewish votes.
5) He's 66 years old. Picking him won't highlight McCain's age.
6) Both him and McCain have been called the “Mavericks” of their parties, so McCain can run the “From Washington, but not of Washington” line.
why do you want to soil a conservatives image by being mcstains vp?
BS.
I stopped caring 4 months ago.
You’re welcome - just can’t imagine McCain’s choice, if it’s real. Looks like we have either a Marxist-Socialist or a Democrat to choose from ....

Jane
Probably time to get rid of the stuff in the freezer.
It's only been there since May of 1971. It's still good. ;-)
