Ohio isn’t a tossup if Obama’s the Dem nominee. Dare I say PA also goes for McCain.

Switching OH and VA from tossup to McCain would put him at 269. What other state do you think is most likely to put McCain over the top?

Not sure WHY, but Iowa does love Obama.

In fact, I could easily see where McCain wins OH, PA, MI and WI, and loses Iowa.

OH and VA will vote for McCain. So will Michigan, PA, and Wisconsin.

This ‘ASSumes’ that all of the Democrats will remain unified behind Obama, and is totally dicounting all of the Hillary voters, (around 35%) , that have claimed they will switch sides and vote for McCain, and the 12% that have said they will not bother to vote at all. Looking at the big picture, McCain should be a shoo-in, but this is no reason to stop working.

looking at the state-to-state polling it seems for all the toss up states McCain consistently beats BO....what throws off the law of averages it seemingly any time McCain has a 4/5pt lead in a state SurveyUSA comes along with a poll that has BO with an 11 point lead....anyone know anything about them???

their web site looks rather novice....

“BTW...what the hell is wrong with Colorado?”

Too damned many liberals are moving here, that’s what. They move here after they mess up the places where they lived before.

I thought they are supposed to be using a 2 point spread for toss-ups but Virgina is in the toss-up cat with a 3point spread for McCain

Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and even the state of Mississippi could swing to Obama based on turning out the minority vote. McCain should not count the Solid South as being in the bag.
