Ah yes, the Dior days of the late '40s - mid 50s, when women wore gloves and hats.

Here in Seattle we have Nordstrom ... a great place to shop and they have a “Rack” with great stuff .....inexpensive and top quality .... but it’s either too small or too large ...

I like to shop at Ann Taylor and their sale rack always has that problem. The sales staff says the size 10 and 12 stuff sells fastest, so I asked them why they don't get more of those sizes and fewer size 2 or 16 stuff. They told me they have no control over what stock they get; corporate just sends it.

Hence the sale “on selected items” since everything is either too small or too large ....

I love the poofy skirts! All things girly. Of course, jeans and flip flops are equally as pleasing - just depends on the mood and occasion. Definitely a fan of fashion ...

Hooray. Pencil skirts are definitely not designed for us big girls.

I’ve been wearing a short-leeve flowered cotton shift after surgery (kind of full over my middle) and noticed how nice and airish it makes my legs and nether parts feel.

A definite plus in a Tennessee summer!

I wore big, loose dresses when we lived in Tennessee. It was so humid there! And I was pregnant.

hmm....would probably look good on my daughter.
A little too puffy for my taste.
I like a-line - but not that puffy.
