A bit of a break from politics with this edition. Don't worry, there will be plenty to work with following tonight's Democrat debate. You definitely want to check out the Spoof of "The Paper" trailer. Great laughs from that.

Normally, I don't watch ANY MTV "Reality" shows which are all completely unreal. I watched just one of them years ago and found the spoiled kids on the show so completely obnoxious that I have avoided all such MTV shows like the plague. I don't watch MTV reality shows because I have a mental age greater than 15.
I'm just sayin is all...

journalists are the most important people in the world Is that you, Will Pitt?
Say, by the by, I wonder if Journalist Pitt was the faculty advisor for the school paper in Newton.

MTV jumped the shark YEARS ago when they STOPPED SHOWING MUSIC VIDEOS! What made MTV popular was being able to hear music in a different form, that form being with the music being accompanied by a video.
Their loss of direction was a slow transformation. First they started to show nothing but rap videos. Then it was rap videos, The Real World and MTV's Spring Break. Now, you are lucky to get any vidoes on the station that was made popular by playing MUSIC VIDEOS!
That was the mind-numbing beauty of MTV. Listening to hours of music while watching the videos. No life lessons, no stupid social experiments, no bad actors (well, maybe some in the videos), and no asinine "reality" shows.

I think I’ll pass on the full episode. The spoof was very FUnnie, and I’m betting those kids have more talent than the ones in the real show. It’s not FUnnier than the line “journalists are the most important part of the world.” That really blew me away. I’d make it my tagline if I didn’t think I’d break out with zots.

"journalists are the most important people in the world,"If by "important" she means "most short sighted, dishonest, head hunting people in the world", then yes. If only Walter Cronkite hadn't lied about the Tet Offensive....f'in SOB.

I laughed my head off with that spoof.
But yeah. MTV is, nowadays, a station for losers with stupid shows like The Paper.
Good grief, that Amanda girl was such an airhead idiot.
