The Supreme Court of the United States has decided to take on the DC v. Heller case, and one of our candidates for Congress recently discussed the case with Jerry Agar, and you can listen in below:

Its always good to see someone from this area get recognized nationally.
John Armor is running for Congress in the NC-11 district.
Here are two of the places I have been frequenting to keep up with this very important case, SCOTUSblog, and The Volokh Conspiracy, although the Bench Memo and the blogfather have been following it as well.

where can I find John’s Amicus brief on this case?
To: SeaHawkFan; Congressman Billybob
No idea, John says in the video it wasn’t submitted in his name. Hopefully he will be able to clear that up for you.

Since I resigned from the Supreme Court Bar over the Court's excreable decision on campaign finance "reform," I cannot submit briefs in my own name, any more. However, that doesn't prevent me from writing briefs for others.
Read the amicus curia brief filed by the American Civil Rights Union -- not to be confused with the ACLU -- and you'll know my thinking on this subject. It boils down to this: the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual right to be armed.
This is confirmed by the fact that when it was written and ratified, the "militia" consisted of "all men between 16 and 65." Since women cannot be excluded from the law, today, it means all adults. Think of the Minutemen, and add Minutewomen.
