DUmmie FUnnies 03-18-08 (KOmmie KOs KOnfronts KOmmieland Klinton Klan)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | March 18, 2008 | Markos Moulitsas, KOmmies, and PJ-Comix

Posted on 03/18/2008 6:51:37 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

Last week the Hillary supporters at the Daily KOs went on STRIKE and this week KOmmie KOs responds with a THREAD titled, "The Clinton civil war." So let us now join the KOmmie KOs counterattack in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, enjoying the War Between the Democrats, is in the [brackets]:

...this site has also been hostile to the corrosive consultant class that gave us our timid and weak party until Howard Dean shook it up in 2004.

[But not hostile to those lucrative consultant fees collected on the sly by Unknown Jerome.]

Now I'm willing to stipulate that on the consultant front, there's likely not much difference between the Obama and Clinton campaigns (I don't know if it's true, but I assume it is). But on everything else, Clinton fails the test of the guiding principles of this site, and of my first book, Crashing the Gate.

[Cashing the Gates?]

...Clinton didn't just vote for the Iraq war and refuse to apologize for it, she voted to give Bush the same authority on Iran.

[No do-over for HIllary on that vote.]

...First of all, the only path to victory for Clinton is via coup by super delegate.

[The Clinton War Room is planning on just such a coup.]

She knows this. That's why there's all the talk about poaching pledged delegates and spinning uncertainty around Michigan and Florida, and laying the case for super delegates to discard the popular will and stage a coup.

[GASP! You mean Hillary wants to fight unfairly?]

Yet a coup by super delegate would sunder the party in civil war.

[A whole bunch of Clinton cash would oil just such a coup.]

Clinton knows this, it's her only path to victory, and she doesn't care. She is willing -- nay, eager to split the party apart in her mad pursuit of power.

[It's ALL about Hillary.]

If the situations were reversed, and Obama was lagging in the delegates, popular vote, states won, money raised, and every other reasonable measure, then I'd feel the same way about Obama. (I pulled the plug early on Dean in 2004.) But that's not the case.

It is Clinton, with no reasonable chance of victory, who is fomenting civil war in order to overturn the will of the Democratic electorate. As such, as far as I'm concerned, she doesn't deserve "fairness" on this site. All sexist attacks will be dealt with -- those will never be acceptable. But otherwise, Clinton has set an inevitably divisive course and must be dealt with appropriately.

[Excommunication from KOmmieland?]

To reiterate, she cannot win without overturning the will of the national Democratic electorate and fomenting civil war, and she doesn't care.

[Hee! Hee! I love it! The destruction of the Democrat party right before our eyes just because of Hillary's insatiable ego.]

That's why she has earned my enmity and that of so many others. That's why she is bleeding super delegates. That's why she's even bleeding her own caucus delegates (remember, she lost a delegate in Iowa on Saturday). That's why Keith Olbermann finally broke his neutrality. That's why Nancy Pelosi essentially cast her lot with Obama. That's why Democrats outside of the Beltway are hoping for the unifying Obama at the top of the ticket, and not a Clinton so divisive, she is actually working to split her own party.

[Hitch your wagon to the Obama campaign which is now in the process of going over the cliff.]

Meanwhile, Clinton and her shrinking band of paranoid holdouts wail and scream about all those evil people who have "turned" on Clinton and are no longer "honest power brokers" or "respectable voices" or whatnot, wearing blinders to reality, talking about silly little "strikes" when in reality, Clinton is planning a far more drastic, destructive and dehabilitating civil war.

[I believe it is called "Scorched Earth."]

People like me have two choices -- look the other way while Clinton attempts to ignite her civil war, or fight back now, before we cross that dangerous line. Honestly, it wasn't a difficult choice. And it's clear, looking at where the super delegates, most bloggers, and people like Olbermann are lining up, that the mainstream of the progressive movement is making the same choice.

[I think you've already crossed that dangerous line.]

And the more super delegates see what is happening, and what Clinton has in store, the more imperative it is that they line up behind Obama and put an end to it before it's too late.

[It already is too late. And now to hear from the rest of the KOmmies...]

And I'm about to quit MyDD forever. It makes my blood boil when I read comments from people who I used to respect 2 years ago, that are so vile and filled with hatred and lies. I have totally lost respect for Jerome as I think he is now nothing more than a paid shill, a traitor to the cause.

[It's called covering all the bases. While KOmmie KOs slams Hillary, his very very special friend, Unknown Jerome, slams Obama.]

Clinton will demolish Obama so much that A) the supers won't vote for him because he is damaged goods or B)he will lose to McCain, allowing Billary to run in '12. It's clear as day, and the sooner we get the word out to as many media outlets as possible the better chance we will have of negating it because she will have already been called out on it. I ran into a Clinton national campaign operative at a coffee joint here in FW, TX the week before our primary and the hatred steaming from this woman's ears was astonishing. It was visceral. I couldn't believe what i was hearing...and it was a Friday night, 3 days after Wisconsin, and there this woman was hammering me with Clinton talking points till she was blue in the face. Every point that i deflected brought on a new assault of verbatim, Hillary.com talking points. This is what we have in our Party. This is what we Democrats have to come to terms with. Do we sit idly by and let it play itself out or do we take a stand and say NO, not THIS way, not THIS time, not EVER! Honestly, Obama could lose 49 states in the general and i wouldn't care. I won't be party to a Party that selects it's candidates this way.

[Democrat implosions are FUn to watch!]

When does Hillary morph into John McCain with boobs?

[The day after she morphs into John McCain without ankles.]

HRC's campaign is on the murder-suicide route

[GO HILLARY!!!]

Party leaders have to have a quiet meeting with her before we reach the MAD stage.

[Mutual Assured Destruction of Democrats is FUn to watch!]

To use an old Western metaphor, Clinton's campaign is like an out of control wagon filled with dynamite careening toward the school house. Hillary and her advisors are the ones who spooked the horses. The superdelegates need to ride to the rescue - not of Obama -- he has the nomination - but of the party- and the size of our electoral victory in november.

[Ka-BOOM!!!]

I'm in love with KOS and I'm not GAY!!!!!!!

[Are you sure?]

The reputation of DKos will only soar due to this boycott. I find this site a nice respite from pounding in nails over at the now discredited MyDD. I come here to take a break from time to time. Fighting complete illogic over there can become tiring. Seems that Clinton is concentrating all of her efforts there. As to the Clintonistas, I say: No quarter given.

[How about Not One Damn Dime given?]

If the Democratic Party allows Hillary Clinton to game the system and snatch victory via cowed superdelegate support, the sucking sound you hear will be the vacuum created in the wake of the mass exit of voters, old and young, active voters, who are the Democratic Party's future because they want to empower themselves through political action. Hillary Clinton is not worth this sacrifice. I hope the Party's leaders recognize this fact.

[Not the first time the Democrats had a sucking sound problem.]

You have to wonder if Hillary has any natural instincts/savvy about this left -- given the no-doubt bombardment of talentless, bossy, power-crazed advisers and surrogates like Mark Penn, Maggie Williams, Howard Wolfson, and, sad to say, finger-waggin' hubby Bill. She must be dizzy from being told by the amen chorus how "to win this thing."

[Icky Harold Ickes is the one who put the Hillary campaign into its current Scorched Earth overdrive.]

STOP THIS CIVIL WAR NOW!

[SHHHHHHH!!!]

clinton extended her hand but obama rejected a very fair offer to end the bickering and unite. the offer of a clinton/obama ticket was more then reasonable. her big state wins, experience, and stronger general election appeal to key swing groups like blue dogs and hispanic clearly make her the top of the ticket. obama's inexperience, weak big state showings, and defeat in every democrat stronghold show his is more #2 material at this point. the jeremiah wright scandal has left him unelectable. accepting the VP would be a wise move for him, far better then going on to defeat against mccain. it is obama who is forcing this contest to continue on and on. she offered to unite. he didn't even counter offer. so it continues...

[Hillary is just too good to Obama.]

It's so obvious to anyone but to those that refuse to see.

the Democratic Party's future because they want to empower themselves through political action.

That's just frightening.
Why not "empower" yourselves by working hard, earning a good living, and NOT making stupid mistakes like drugs, unmarried sex, dropping out of school, etc. Only in Kommieland is over-regulation spun as "activism".

Horse Schmidt, KOs! You would be screaming

"But otherwise, Clinton has set an inevitably divisive course and must be dealt with appropriately."

Oh, oh...Will Pitt has just been banned from the KOs. Where "Will" he turn to avoid the "Pitt" of despair?

Bukowski's, of course. There to swill brew and reminisce of the young girls of Newton, MA

"and people like Olbermann are lining up, that the mainstream of the progressive movement is making the same choice."

Liberal fantasy-land allows the KOs kids to use BOTH "Olbermann" and "mainstream progressive movement" in the same sentence.

All liberals, please report to Michael Jackson's NeverLand ranch.
