Saludos!! As you may have heard, we are organizing "Viva McCain Fiestas" all over the nation on Dec. 9th at 7:00-9:00p.m. ET to watch the Univision Republican Debate and support John McCain. (See flyer below.)
To "Host" a Fiesta simply:
1. Register (by sending me an email to jhernandez@mccain08hq.com letting me know names of those watching, email addresses and cities);
2. Watch the Univision TV Debate;
3. Have a computer on to Watch/Hear Senator McCain LIVE through our web site; and
4. Donate $25 through web page (not required but needed!!)
Over Thanksgiving I singlehandedly signed up 75 family members and friends to participate. Please send me MUCHOS and forward the flyer to all your amigos!

The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007, or, in its full name, the Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (S. 1348) was a bill discussed in the 110th United States Congress that would have provided legal status and a path to legal citizenship for the approximately 12 million illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States. The bill was portrayed as a compromise between legalization of illegal immigrants and increased border enforcement: it included funding for 300 miles of vehicle barriers, 105 camera and radar towers, and 20,000 more Border Patrol agents, while simultaneously restructuring visa criterion around high skill workers. The bill also received heated criticism from both sides of the immigration debate. The bill was introduced in the United States Senate on May 9, 2007, but was never voted on, though a series of votes on amendments and cloture took place. The last vote on cloture, on June 7, 2007, 11:59 AM, failed 34-61 effectively ending the bill's chances. A related bill S. 1639, on June 28, 2007, 11:04 AM, also failed 46-53.

What’s a mother to do?
The Hill has kept count of the endorsements for each candidate from Congress since the primary started.
I find it interesting that Romney, a DC outsider has more endorsements from sitting congressmen than McCain does, where he’s spent the last how many years? Romney’s endorsers are more conservative, McCain’s more liberal, except Tom Coburn....I’ll never figure that one out.

On Laura Ingraham’s Monday show, she said that John McCain said that he would pick a justice like Roberts, but NOT Alito, because Alito “wears his conservatism on his sleeve.”

Saddest election ever. One writer was onto something by pointing out how the conservatives were forced, due to the states’ shifting/vying for influence, to expend their money while the corrupted have a nearly endless supply - forcing the race to the same old choosing of the lesser evil.
This did confirm for me that we citizens are NOT in any way involved in the process. We are herded like cattle down the chutes toward predetermined outcomes for the benefit of cowardly and ethic-less people who are themselves slaves to the industrial complex. Until this problem is recognized (if a benumbed public will wake up and object?) we are in deep dish kimchee.
