Thank you for checking out my new page! I have co-written and recorded a song titled "Not Ready To End The Fight." This song is inspired by the fact that I, like many Americans, don't particularly appreciate:
I am 23, a husband, a father, an active duty U.S. Marine, and musician. I am not a celebrity or politician, nor do I know any. My wonderful wife and I are ordinary, hardworking, religious, family oriented, patriotic Americans. We each were born and reared in small-town Louisiana. I grew up in Eunice, Louisiana. I also have family in Texas. My wife, newborn son, and I live in the Washington, D.C. area where I am presently stationed. We are very thankful for our large supportive families.
To make a contribution to the Country and the war effort, I joined the USMC upon my graduation from high school. I have served in combat in both Afghanistan and Iraq with extraordinarily unselfish and brave Americans.
In my spare time, I have always enjoyed song writing, guitar pickin, and singing mostly country music. I have recorded "Not Ready To End The Fight" at Parlor Studios on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. A fellow Marine, Maj. D. Michael, and I wrote this heartfelt song to expresses our attitudes about whats going on in America as it relates to this important war. Also, neither of us have much respect for all the fat cat Hollywood celebrity left wing political opinions (like the Dixie Chicks and many more) and the out-of-touch politicians that seem to be all talk and can't seem to roll up their sleeves and aggressively give us the support and tools to win this War on Terrorism.
Thank everyone for you who strongly support the military and our mission! Your prayers and appreciation make our job gratifying!
Semper Fi!
Battling the lib fats cats is a life long battle, they ain’t retreating to some cave unless it is the latest Hollywood thing to do, part of some crazed hole-istic retreat therapy. They own the high ground of Malibu and the Canyon. But if you get them... be sure to spank their inner child.
When I was a young lad back in what seems like the stone age I lived next door to a Marine named Thibodeaux, a fine Louisiana name if there ever was one.
Nice read. Now I gotta get ready for work. Have a great day.
ping for viewing after work...
Ping for home
Good Lord, someone tell that man that the celebrity or politician doesn't matter - he says more with the statement "I am a United States Marine" than any old pol or hollywood freak.
Outstanding!
Great song! Hope it gets some good airplay on Country radio.
Ping — eat that, Dixie Twits!
Emailed your webpage to the programming dept. of my local country station.
