A new, two nation poll from Zogby International shows that a large majority of Mexicans believes the southwest U.S. rightfully belongs to Mexico, and that they should be free to enter the U.S. without obtaining U.S. permission.
The largest majority in the poll, however, was found among the 68 percent of Americans who support use of the military to guard the border. The survey was conducted in the U.S. and in Mexico in May.
The poll was conducted for Americans for Immigration Control, Inc. "While most Americans want immigration reduced, most Mexicans think they don't even need permission to enter our country. This poll clearly shows there is less common ground for immigration negotiations between Mexico and the U.S. than leaders think. Support for a porous border and a loose migration policy occurs only on the Mexican side, not in the U.S." said Robert Goldsborough, AIC president.
The survey found a wide majority, 65 percent, of Americans oppose amnesty for illegal aliens, and a large majority, 58 percent, agree that the U.S. should "admit fewer immigrants each year."

Perhaps the good folks at Zogbe should conduct a poll that will discover the percentage of mexicans that understand they will get immediately and thoroughly ventilated by souvenir hunting rednecks if they try claiming the Southwest for mexico.
I would just love to see the numbers on that one…
Hispanics took over my small town in SE MASS. I watched it go from a sleepy, bucolic country town into an overbuilt cesspit of drugs, crime, section 8 housing and violence. The brand-new $22 million (in 1975 dollars) high school looked like a 3rd-world bombed-out disaster only 5 years after it was built. They have stopped replacing the lights at all the schools and ballparks in town because they don’t last a single night - even when they put wire mesh guards on them they used 12 gauge shotguns to put them out. I guess, like cockroaches, these criminals hate the light. I moved over the border into NH - and now I am seeing the same thing happen in my new town. We’ll be moving to the country in a few years. What a shame to see our country destroyed by those who will not assimilate into our society, and the Democrats that cheer them on; indeed take money from me to give to these people in order to facilitate our country’s destruction. I pray for our once-great nation to return to it’s former Christian values.

Ten to fifteen years ago it was a fringe....today, with 20 million here, it has become mainstream!!

I have no concern for Americans who travel to Mexico on their own free will. If you want to go play behind enemy lines, you should expect to be taken prisoner.
Just because we are stupid enough to permit these people to come across our borders is no reason we should be going across theirs.

Lets not just blame our democrates, really, what has our GOP done about these issues? Really nothing. In fact the top tier leaders are pushing for the amnesty bill. Rudy, who is ahead in most polls for the republican nomination supports amnesty and doesn’t believe illegal immigrants are illegal. W is being praised for appointing the most judges of latino descent on the federal bench than any other president. Thats great till you find out many have ties or support LaRaza.
But hey, if our leaders tell us this is good for us and great for america, it most be so.

Well, I think this is a wonderful POLL. Let the media circulate it wide so their true interest can come out of the shadows. Maybe so many would not be so damn supporting then.
