.............. AND ....
.........
So there I was.... wondering what the "ideal" ticket would look like in the '08 Presidential race..
As many of you know from previous posts I was looking for a Duncan Hunter / Fred Thompson ticket.
I later scratched Fred Thompson off my "dream team" list for reasons discussed in other threads, and have been "searching" for someone to put in the VP slot of my "wish list".
Well Sarah Palin's name came up in a recent discussion, and I can't believe that I never thought about her as VP material before --- but after further considetation I am seriously thinking I might I have finally found my DREAM TEAM TICKET.
Looking for some FReeper input on this idea......
Thanks !! and here is a link..
Official BIO for Gov. Sarah Palin (Alaska)
I wonder - if the timing of the Democrat Convention in Denver was slotted into the timing for the Republican slot - would Obama suspend worship on a Greek altar from his 75,000 misguided captives under a media induced trance? Probably not. Would he ask to borrow John McCain's lapel pin and would he check to see if it had 57 stars on it?
Good to see you back in the hood homie!
,,, yo, bro! Thanks. It’s been a while, with settling into the new location and all. Great to be back - hope all is well with you.
Again mate, youve nailed it!!
:)
Sarah Palin is real deal!!
I think you should stop wasting bandwidth with your silly vanities and pay an ad agency to promote your website.
LOL... my website is just my personal BIO... I don’t need to “promote” myself for anything right now.. but thanks for the laugh.
David
Ok, I’ve said on this thread I can’t support Palin because she is a woman.
A freeper on another thread just introduced me to
Jeane Kirkpatrick (Reagan’s Cabinet)
16th United States Ambassador to the United Nations
What an impressive woman!
I feel better now. If Kirkpatrick can command respect, then Palin can too.
I will support Palin. Now what do we do about McCain? ;)
On board for Palin bump
Welcome to the Dark Side
(We have cookies)...
I don’t want a woman CIC either. Unless she is the 2nd coming of Maggie Thatcher. I would not have supported Palin if she had run in the primary. In fact only a Reagan clone would have pried me away from supporting Hunter....maybe.
But Palin has some real talent. And by all indications so far, is a real conservative. A Maggie in the making. perhaps. But a star in her own right, right now. She has a bright future, and that future will likely start as Vice President in January 09.
Well, at least she’s taken the boredom out of this thing! lol
I’m not ready to say ‘on board’ until I hear her on a couple more issues, but I’m a lot closer than I thought anyone could make me. One thing for sure, a woman has saved McCain.

Don't worry about him. Just buy the T-shirt.
You know what, I think I will. That shirt does say it all :)
LOL!!!
I know. Right now, I’m clinging to thoughts of Kirkpatrick.
>>>One thing for sure, a woman has saved McCain.
I keep having nightmarish visions of what he did to Dolores Apodaca Alfond.
Hey Cal! Jean Kirkpatrick, God rest her soul, was, indeed, a force to be reckoned with. Or from the opposition party, Eleanor Roosevelt. Not to forget the UK’s peerless Lady Margaret Thatcher.
It disturbs me that McCain needed a viable VP to bring in conservative votes because he knew he couldn’t do it alone. So he chose the closest he could find to Rep. Duncan L. Hunter to fill that spot in Governor Sarah Palin.
It’s taken well over a year for the American people to identify the leftist media for what they are - Commie King-makers who will do anything necessary to attain their subversive agenda.
Too bad we missed out on a true dynamic conservative nominee on January 19 when Rep. Hunter gave in to the Duncan Whos, even those here on FR. A day that may live in infamy!
