Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) that she intends to make sure "nothing stands in the way of loving couples, gay or straight, who want to adopt children."

If Herself, the Cold and Joyless, were taking such a position for principled reasons, that would be one thing. Consistent, but misdirected. But Herself is doing this for the most cynical of reasons, simply to pander to a constituency.
Herself is floundering all over the board, and as a sign of that, has called in the "Shan" (previously known as the "Former Ocupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001") to shore up her campaign awfully early in the game. The "Shan" already had no resistance to the idea of homosexual couples being given the unqualified right to adopt, but it was not one of his major core principles. With Herself, the acceptance of some political position or another is all in how it could be tied to a) perpetuation of power, and b) using that power to reinterpret the existing laws and statutes in such way as to alter or even reverse the standards and culture that are keyed to individual merit and intellectual honesty.
Extending marriage-like status to homosexual couples, and worse, giving them weight and authority far beyond their numbers, is purely a shameless bid for attracting their support without ever giving them very much in return. It is a feel-good gesture that has no basis in human realities.
Like sending females off to war, by placing no limitations as to where and when they may be deployed. When the realities set in, then, of course, all the horrors of warfare are amplified. You let the girl get hit, and that is just not nice.
Likewise, when children are raised in an exclusively single-sex household, they develop attitudes and behavior patterns that are a little extreme for most of the rest of society. Dysfunction leads to still more dysfunction.
"Conservative Values:
Meet The Press:
Tim Russert: "Whether it's gays in the military, gun control, campaign finance, late term abortion - you and Hillary Clinton are in sync on those issues."
Rudy Giuliani: "Well then maybe the other side should stop the 'He's part of the vast right wing conspiracy'."
Wonder if she was wearing a flannel shirt.
She was probably wearing Birkenstocks.
I can't imagine why you'd be surprised that many on this forum are against the homosexual agenda and homosexualism. It isn't as if this view has not been established by the Founder in his Statement.
Many many of us actually agree with the entire Statement, not just select bits and pieces. And many many of us find it very telling that your only attack is to label us self-haters. As if guilt plays a part in any of this to any thinking person.
It's like watching the evil queen in Snow White talk to a mirror.
Good grief!
For the record, I DON'T hate homosexuals. I have known several who are very pleasant. As far as their lifestyle goes, I know that it is sinful and if asked will say that. However, I'm not really interested in hearing about anyone's sex life, I have a difficult enough time keeping my own wife happy, I don't want to hear about someone else's problems.
What I do oppose is their radical agenda that they are trying to force on people. To make the statement that those who are opposed to militant homosexualism hate homosexuals is like saying that those who are opposed to the feminazis hate women (and I happen to love women even if I don't have the vaguest idea what makes them tick).
I certainly didn't imply or state that you did.
Or me for that matter. My gay liberal uncle would be pretty surprised if that were the case.
And ditto to the rest. :) (Well except for that part where you're a husband/man talking about your wife/women... I can't say ditto to that). ;-)
Oy. Say that with a lithp.
Yeah, I know YOU like talking about other people's sex lives! :-)
You forgot your sarcasm tag. Now you've done it!
No, I forgot that pregnant women's hormones kick in and the first thing to get eliminated is a sense of humor!!! :-)
This woman is pure evil.
wagglebee is pregnant. He is trying to find out what makes his wife and all the rest of us women tick so thought this idea might hold all the answers. :)
Well, seeing as I AM A MAN, it's not me!
