I think I have listened to Sean Hannity for the last time.
XM Radio -- ABCNews Talk | 2.9.7 | markbureau

Today I got in my car, turned on XM 124 since it was after 3PM. Usually I catch Hannity at that time, because on the XM, all there is is him and Dr. Laura and of course some great music.. but I digress...

Let me preface this by saying for the week, week and half, Hannity has been all over DNC and their winter meetings where they had an IMAM open the session with a prayer...

This imam's prayer is all over you tube so I won't get into the content, except to say it was very anti-American, anti-Sematic.

For a week, Hannity's kept this thing in the news, basically playing the audio and ranting about it, and of course asking every guest what they thought about it.

So we all know.. it was a stupid thing the Democrats did, having this imam open their session with his Islamic prayer.

So what did Hannity do today that made me turn him off for the last time? He put this imam on the air himself, and in the form of hard hitting investigation, he plays the Hannity portion of hannity & colmes and asks all the "don't you think its wrong for you to do this.." then goes on about ahmedidijad and iran. The whole time the Imam is ignoring the question and spewing the same hate filled rhetoric he spewed at the DNC. And Hannity let him do it. He let this IMAM use Hannity's platform to spread his anti American hatred, under the context of an interview.

Hannity crossed the line. If he thinks this will get him ratings... he has lost it.

Looks like its Dr Laura from now on for me, unless there's some local good stuff on in the Atlanta market (Not clark howard or dave ramsey either).

I'm sure Sean is a nice guy. But I find him unlistenable for exactly the same reason as the listener in this story states.

I don't think the Imam helped himself by spreading his message on Hannity's show. I like Sean. I have problems with him but they have nothing to do with this issue.

Other than Mark Steyn there is no commentator with the intelligence to deserve his own program.

I happen to think that exposing this stuff to the light is the best thing Sean can do. He does tend to get a little strident in his ranting, but there is nothing wrong with publicizing this kind of thing. The real problem is all the people out there who, watching only the MSM, refuse to admit the scope of the problem.

There are plenty of reasons for tuning Hannitty out but I think that's not one. Letting that imam spew his hate on the air lets's folks hear for themselves exactly what we're up against.

I don't have the heart to ask to be taken of the Hannity ping list yet, but I quit listening to him long ago.

His format is repulsive, always having Whoraldo (the media whore), Charles Rangel, Susan Estrich, etc, on his show.

Who wants to hear what these morons say, over and over again?

Another extremely annoying thing he does is repeat bullet points to his audience or guests.

What's rong with some nutcase moslem spewing hate on the public airwaves? Sounds great to me. In fact, keep putting the guy on the air and get him to not only diss on the United States let's hear him start spewing things that show what the worshippers of the black rock are really like.

Too many Americans think islam is like being a quaker or something. It's just an odd religion. They need to hear over and over that islam hates our country, it hates our way of life and it wants to replace our representative republic with sharia law.

If what you say is true Hannity is doing the right thing. Getting more and more of these islamonazis in front of the American people is a good thing.

I thought it was great. It displayed the irrational hatred of the DNC's imam.

It was a nice window into what the DNC embraces.

What's wrong with letting the radio audience know how much these people hate America and how they want to kill all of us?

Great way to expose the Imam.

Sean did the right thing.

I've had to turn off talk radio completely today and yesterday turned off Hannity, today with Mark (Leave our Borders Open) Belling on Rush.

Hannity and others who claim to be conservatives are already signinging on to Guiliani, presumably because he's from the NE and they do love their candidates, don't they.

But really, folks, attempting to scare Republicans by the "Hillary is a lock for '08 so we might as well throw our priciples over the wall and accept a pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-gun RINO as our candidate. Then they all are dragging the "toe sucker" out (who has never met a conservative he likes), that blew it completely for me.

It's Nelson Rockefeller all over again.

We agree about Steyn, but I think Marc Levin can be added to the short list of people who are smart enough to deserve their own show.

I can't stand Hannity's radio show and stopped listening to it a long time ago. And with his recent love affair with liberal Rudy Giuliani and the way he's been carrying Rudy's water, I'm twice as not listening to him as I was before.

Have to agree with you there. Most Americans are utterly clueless about what these so called 'moderates' are actually like. Guys like Hannity ensure that their duplicity is publically aired. If that needs to happen over and over again to educate the public then I'm all for it.

Oddly enough, I was on the way home from work and was going through the radio dial and happened to catch this piece on Hannity's show. I then remembered why I don't listen. Same screaming by people that don't agree with Sean.

I don't rely on the MSM for ANYTHING.
