Dear Rush:
Pardon my French, but youre full of s***! As I listened to your show last week, you chose to criticize and attack conservative Americans like myself who feel the Republican Party does not deserve to win in November. Rush, since when did you become such a shill for the GOP? Choosing the party over the base is a very disappointing move to this long time listener. Im very disappointed in you, Rush Limbaugh, youve lost touch with the reality that is life for the common man in America. I heartily recommend you take pause and reconsider your programming strategy. Do you really want to attack those of us on the front lines versus liberalism? Rush, you yourself have become one of the elite of our society. Perhaps I need to give you some perspective, so you can better understand our anger, or at least mine.
You didn't run for office??
>>>We're supposed to be the ones with principles. If the best we can say about our candidates is "Well, the other guy is worse", then we have lost our way.>>>
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
What the hell is 'grass roots' if not to root out the people who AREN'T SERVING US!!!!
But they are the only major party standing between the American government and the liberals. The only one!
So swallow your single issue and purist attitudes, and vote for those Republicans who have emerged from the primaries. The time for changes is now over, and another time begins in less than two years.
It is really simple how all this politics stuff works, and you need to understand it, so you do not fall for every bit of BS the MSM throws your way.(as you have apparently been doing)
The primaries. Get the candidate you want in office then. Otherwise, by not supporting the GOP, you really are helping to get democrats elected. Staying home is just like pulling the lever for Pelosi.
Thing of it is that the hold against liberalism has been in the House of Representatives and that House historically speaking is the peoples House and that should be the incentive to keep it out of the liberals control.
The House is what pushed and got the wily Senate to finally agree to a tax cut policy, liberals are salivating at the prospect at getting their hands back in control and into tax payer pockets playing the "Good Samaritan" role.
I can hear them now, bless be the givers of charity.
>>>You didn't run for office??>>>
Aahhh, so that's it. If I would have just run for office...
Is English your first language?
>>>But they are the only major party standing between the American government and the liberals. The only one!>>>
Here lately I'm not seeing much difference between the Republican party and liberals.
>>>The primaries. Get the candidate you want in office then. Otherwise, by not supporting the GOP, you really are helping to get democrats elected. Staying home is just like pulling the lever for Pelosi.>>>
I voted in the Primaries.
>>>What? I don't know of any Republican in my area that was challenged in the primary that was an incumbant. If there were options, other than the one whose always been there...
Is English your first language?>>>
Nothing to say to my point, just mocking my English.
Great.
If you want the GOP to shift left: Stay home
If you want more Souters on the court: stay home
If you want defeat in Iraq: stay home
If you want to prolong the WOT: stay home.
Drop the pretenses, the displayed anger and the word "US".
It is obvious that you meant to use the phrase "politicians who are not serving ME".
The word "us" denotes membership in a group. You are not thinking as a group, nor are you doing what is in the best interests of the group.
Which is the entire point of politics in general.
blah blah blah...
Go crawl under your bed and vote for the enemy then.
Yea, that'll show them alright. And the rest of us too, will pay for your little holier than thou temper tantrum.
You won't vote for them and hey...guess what we wouldn't vote for the likes of you and yours, so there you have it...
I guess we all just lose!
People like really pi$$ me off.
blah blah blah.....
Go back through comments on every single election for the last 100 years, and you will see the same comments in the old editorials.
Parties always appear closer than they really are, because they are chasing the same voters!
Get used to it. It is a reality of politics. We will never get it all. Not ever, because if we tried, we would lose the election. The idea is to get elected, and then make the rightward shift, as far as we can.
The Dem's do the same, but they shift left after the election.
It is all a game.
Hmmm. I could take that either of two ways.
1. You are in fact not new to FR, but have only recently taken on a new handle. The "ver.2.0" might refer to that. If so, I withdraw my comment about learning something about FR.
2. You are saying that in fact JimRob intends FR to be a site for the gathering of RNC shills, not a forum for the discussion of conservative principles, ideas, and actions. I hope that's not the case, since my participation on FR has been precisely because it embraces concepts such as adherance to Constitutional principles, protection of God-given rights, limited government, and the vigorous defense of freedom in the face of terrorism.
I don't recall JimRob saying that an (R) next to a name automatically makes him or her a conservative worthy of our support.
Or there might be something else you meant...?
There's a great cut and run response to the challenge you refuse to meet! Let others run, and you can criticize them all day and night because they are not exactly like you. If they were, they would have never run for office.
