The DUmmies have found a new human rights cause that they can rally behind. It is to protest the "torture" of Saddam Hussein by forcing him to watch the South Park movie, in which he is Satan's gay lover, over and over again. As you can see in this Yahoo! News ARTICLE, the South Park creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, said that the U.S. Marines guarding the former Iraqi dictator are forcing him to watch South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut over and over again. You can get an idea of the "torture" that Saddam is being subjected to be taking a look at this VIDEO clip from the movie featuring his "special relationship" with Satan (warning: strong language and content). As a result of this South Park "torture" of Saddam, the DUmmies are in a state of outrage as you can see in this THREAD titled, "Saddam forced to watch himself in South Park movie." Of course, the average DUmmie would love to subject George Bush to much worse things than just this relatively minor humliation so their protests ring a bit hollow. As usual, the DUmmies concerns over the well-being of Saddam Hussein are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, not losing a moment of sleep worrying about Saddam's "torture," is in the [brackets]:
Saddam forced to watch himself in South Park movie
[Oh, the INHUMANITY!!!]
Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being made to watch his appearance in cult cartoon South Park while he is behind bars.
The deposed leader on trial in Iraq was featured in the movie spin-off as the lover of the devil. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut featured Hussein and Satan attempting to take over the world together.
Speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said US Marines guarding the former dictator during his trial for genocide were making him watch the movie "repeatedly".
"I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed him the movie last year. That's really adding insult to injury. I bet that made him really happy," Stone said.
[This cruel torture is almost as inhumane as subjecting the Gitmo prisoners to air conditioning.]
How utterly embarassing...for the Marines, NOT for Saddam. Childish, stupid, sophmoric...
[This coming from a DUmmie who would LOVE subjecting George Bush to childish, stupid, and sophmoric stunts.]
I've heard Satan wasn't too happy about the way he was portrayed either.
[Especially since he has subsequently broken off his "special relationship" with Saddam.]
If true, this is childish bullshit. Given Saddam's limited English skills and his obvious mental fortitude, this is a waste of time.
[It doesn't take much English skills to figure out the "special relationship" of Saddam and Satan when they are hugging each other in bed.]
With Saddam's limited English and his innate inner strength, this is an exercise in amateurville.
[How touching is this DUmmie admiration for Saddam's "inner strength."]
Bush peed hisself laughin, tho. We are the Boorish Bully Fratboy Nation.
[DUmmies would pee themselves laughing if they had the opportunity to do a lot WORSE to Bush.]
Perhaps he has a sense of humor?
[Somehow I just can't picture Saddam laughing at himself.]
We have Jumped the Shark as a nation.
[For DUmmies, the Jump the Shark moment for America came when we subjected Saddam Hussein to the "torture" of watching his South Park portrayal over and over again.]
When will Trey and Matt go after Bush? Are they scared sh*tless?
[They don't dare to confront the Bush Family Evil Empire.]
Are we, the US citizens, suppose to be proud of this?
[YUP!]
The problem is as a country. We should hold ourselves to much much higher standards in our treatment of prisoners. We should lead by good example not be the bullies of the world.
[I bet the victims of Saddam's torture cells would have welcomed such "bullying" as a relief from the treatment they normally received.]
Hes got his Doritos. I think hes allright.
[Yeah but does he also get salsa dip with that? If not, I'm going to complain to a human rights commission.]
I patiently await my Pulitzer Prize. It should be awarded to me in 24 business hours!

52. What a pitiful bunch
Taken for a ride? Please, I reported the truth. And unless any of you have received a statement from Patrick Fitzgerald all you have is Robert Luskin's word.
Amazing that you call yourselves "progressive."
You're no different than the folks who have spent the past three years maligning Joe Wilson.
This guy still hasn't given up hope that Rove will be indicted. ...but some DU'ers have had enough.
...too funny
Waaaaaaaah! The poor DUmmies have hurt feelings.
Hey, DUmmie, Saddam knows English. He only pretends to not know English when he talks to Western reporters.
I think that's demeaning to the devil.
Good luck with Ernesto PJ. If you are really lucky, you might be able to catch Shep Smith in a deep state of angst.
... about evidence for claims made.
Which, admittedly, was quite a few. But not all.
In any case, the blame is on the credulous-don't-need-no-stinkin-evidence DUers as much as it's on leopold.
By the way - have 24 business hours passed yet?
16. You bet, kpete. Let's have no standards for posting! Truth as a standard? Why no, that's censorship!
DU currently bans Wayne Madsen articles because they guy is a nut. I learned this when I was gullible enough to post one of his pieces and DUers explained to me why the moderator deleted the post.
Why can't we apply the same standard to Leopold?
Isn't truth the most important standard of all?
And never forget it!
Wow, this ranks right up there with panties-on-the-head! Oh, the hugh manatee! :-D
BTW, did y'all see the current poll on the CNN website? The question is wrt who would win in a debate between Bush and that "Ahmanutjob" character in Iran (topic: world issues). With just over 60,000 votes cast so far, 63% of the voters have chosen "Ahmanutjob".
Fools.
Stay safe, PJ.
Top 30!
Unlike Saddam's Iraq, which was the Murderous Brutal Dictator Nation.
I think I caught a "contact buzz" from hanging around over there too long.
Hard drugs have done their fair share of damage to the posters of DU
Wow! How far off the edge of reality do you have to go before even the DUmmies dismiss you as a nut?
Watching South Park would be pretty close to torture.
Whatta guy. You're getting me all weepy here. Oh, for a return to Camelot!
THOSE WERE UDAY'S
Tune: "Those Were the Days"
Boy, the pranks Qusay would play!
Loved to gas the Kurds away.
But those rapes that wedding day--
Those were Uday's.
And you didn't dare complain
Or you'd gain a world of pain.
Mister, we could use a reign
Like that of Saddam Hussein.
Didn't need no polls to tell
Who would rule this living hell.
Gee, our old Iraq ran swell--
Those were the days!
Plus, there's just not enough swearing. :-)
I recall Madsen made some sort of outrageous claim about a month ago that made a thread here. I'll have to do a search and check it out.

Freeper took about 15 minutes to figure out what the weapon was. He claimed Israel was using chemical weapons in Lebenon.
