Segolene Royal, the socialist hoping to become France’s first female president, called for former US president Bill Clinton to “insert himself” into Lebanon to try to resolve the crisis. “I am willing to give oral support if needed, but it may not be enough to make the warring parties come together,” said Royal. “Now that Israel and Hezbollah have come to blows, we need a person with more experience to insert himself into the crisis if an opening should present itself. That person, in my opinion, is President Clinton.”

This lady should watch her mouth. Using "insert himself" "oral support" and "Bill Clinton" in the same sentence is asking for trouble.
I love this picture of ol' billyblythe: It shows so MUCH about him. It is totally out of control here...totally himself...and he looks like the absolute fool that he is. His body language shows that even he knows he's out of control.

Insert himself? Hezbollah has been calling for human shields and I'd be willing to put the airfare on my credit card if Bill will agree to go.
Or.....Clinton escaped to Europe to avoid the war in Vietnam, do you honestly think he would volunteer to go to a war in Lebanon now?
