Appearing before a religious conference, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) told the audience that as a seven-year-old child she would walk 10 miles through snow and rain to Sunday school each week where she would baby-sit the children of workers so that their parents could work on the plantations that were common in her community.
"I was fortunate that at an early age, through my church, I was given the opportunity to flesh-out my political resume," Clinton told the 600 adults and teenagers attending the Sojourners "Covenant for a New America" conference.
Sen. Clinton (nee Rodham) says she grew up in Park Ridge, Ill., a Chicago suburb where it was common for wealthy residents to own one or more house servants and numerous field hands to harvest the cotton crop. She wistfully recounted her experiences for the Sojourners audience. "We had such good times. My best friend was named 'Prissy,'" said Clinton. "She was kind of dopey, but cute as a bug. I taught her about Jesus. Then there was 'Mammy' and 'Uncle Tom.' I have so many fond memories of those days."
Clinton asserted that these early life experiences brought her face-to-face with the realities of relationships between social classes--realities she says helped shape her political philosophy.

Yeah, uh, this has been posted before, but hey it's always good to rub it in on the queen of myth.
Did she really say that??
Dadgum it! Beverage warning next time, wouldja???
[wipes iced tea off monitor furiously]
;-)
(Had me going there for a minute.)
Someone beat Semmens to his own post?
Seems so, I read it here a couple of days ago. Do a google on Hillary (Queen of Myth) Clinton, just leave out the queen of myth part.
Mrs. Clinton grew up in Park Ridge, Ill., a tony Chicago suburb that as of 2000, according to census data, was 95.4% white, had a median family income of $87,795, and had a grand total of 174 families (1.7%) below the poverty level. How many migrant workers could there have been for her to baby-sit for?
It rained and snowed every Sunday?
This church allowed a 7 yo to 'babysit'??
This 'church' condoned and encouraged working on Sundays???
No wonder she's as liberal as she is

Cotton plantations in Park Ridge???? Google Illinois cotton plantations and see if you can find any history. Lived in Chicago area all my life, first I've heard of them.
"Then there was 'Mammy' and 'Uncle Tom.' I have so many fond memories of those days."
STOP!!! Your're killin' me!!!! LOL!!!!
Why doesn't that surprise me, maybe because we're talking about the Queen of Myth.
Yes.
I did a search with the keyword "LIAR". Here is what showed up on this story. The second is about her dream to be an Olympic athlete. I also found the article about her dream to be an astronaut. Seems she has a serious problem stretching the truth, as if she has any idea what that is.

You have GOT to see this one.
LoL
Good GRIEF! How many lies did YOU spot in this segment? She's so full of it she's gonna explode from all that lying and BS!
Unfortunately it is satire. But certainly not outside the range of her lies.
Yeah, well, I wanted to be an Olympic Athlete too. And who wouldn't want to be an atronaut? But heck we all don't go around saying that we "spent our lives" aspiring for these things, because for most of us it's simply NOT TRUE. But for Hillary apparently dreams "defined" her. But obviously it was her inability to achieve those dreams that has truly defined her.
