I registered as a Democrat when I first was eligible to vote. Lasted 5 years or so.
I have never changed my registration. It's waaaay too much fun voting in the primaries...

When neither party represents you people naturally feel the greatest anger at those they trusted in. I wouldn't be surprised if alot of people vote democrat as a way to get back at Republicans who have ignored those of us who have faithfully gone out and voted for what we thought was the party most in line with our ideals.

It’s that they claim to be on the libertarian/conservative side, and they are anything but, and they prove it again and again and again. It's worse: both major parties are now actively and aggresively anti-libertarian. I'll never vote for a Democrat as long as I live, but the Republicans are now loudly telling me they don't want voters like me in their clique.

I'm as sick of some of them as you are -- but not all of them. I've been thinking that more of us should become delegates and/or get involved more with the process so that we can decide who the candidates will be. That takes time and effort and frankly I hate politics, but unless we get involved in the process -- not just pulling the lever on voting days -- nothing will change. Voting Dem is not an option for me -- it's suicide.
