One man located in Kansas City (Mission Hills/Prairie Village) waited 2 years for this $200,000 car.
He had this car only two days and had only put 9 miles on it.
He decided to try out how fast it would go- and decided to punch the gas pedal. When he did… he lost traction on the rear wheel and lost control on a bridge next to golf hole #17 at a major country club (Mission Hills Country Club) which crosses a small creek.
He nailed a steel and concrete pole.

Worst of all, Ford won't make any more. This dude just made the other 1,499 that much more valuable.

STUPID!!!
But I understand the price tag is more like $150k. Not that many of us can afford to lose that either.

He could probably sell the salvagable parts for decent money.

"I wonder if its even repairable." I'm no mechanic but IIRC this is a mid-engine design and the damage, although extensive would probably be repairable considering the value of the asset being restored.
Others with more knowledge might disagree and you are advised to listen to them.

I wonder if its even repairable.Since it's a mid-engine design, the damage is mostly to the body and front suspension/steering. Probably not to bad to repair, if he can get replacement parts.

Have a small auto body shop and had a chance to repair a Dodge Viper.Could have made a decent profit, but repair parts prices were more than I could afford! Its been awhile but I think the hood was like 7-8,000 dollars. It needed a lot more than that!

Carbon fiber and plastic glue!Once saw a guy glue the front end of a corvette and did not reinforce [prop]it up correctly. The next morning,it had a permanent v shape in it.What a sight. It had to be completly redone, and once the glue sets up,it is a job to get it a part.Front fenders could not be saved.

Its been awhile but I think the hood was like 7-8,000 dollars. It needed a lot more than that! I was really thinking in terms of the amount of labor. When you buy a $200,000 sports car another $20,000 in parts for the repairs are minuscule. But if you can find the parts he's probably got <40 hrs of labor plus paint. Not like having to rebuild the engine if that accident had been a Corvette.
