Vatican's Evolutionists By Rafael Brom

Catholics should wonder why Vatican constanly issuing a stout defence of Charles Darwin's Fraudulent Communist Religion "Theory of Evolution". Now we have Vatican's high ranked Cardinal claiming that the Genesis description of how God created the universe and Darwin's theory of evolution were "perfectly compatible" if the Bible were read correctly. Looks like that 150 million martyrs who were tortured and killed by communists since 1917 in the name of "Theory of Evolution" did not read their Bible correctly. I am sure that Vatican's Evolutionists will one day declare St. Peter as the First Communist and Communism as perfectly compatible with the Bible. Considering that we are made on the Image of God according to the Bible and that we evolved from monkeys according to Vatican, God must look like a King Kong.

"The Pope is absolutely right.... evolution is true, as is Genesis, read correctly (i.e., as poetry)."

Another genius makes his mark on FR. No Pope has ever said that evolution is true. The only two Popes to make statements on evolution were Pius XII and JPII. Pius XII said that Catholics may study both sides of the evolution debate, but in the same Encyclical he denounced evolution as being a doctrinal antagonist and expressed his belief that the theory would soon enough fall on its face.

Pope JPII read a letter which was written by the head (scientist) of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. He allegedly read a line from that letter that stated: "evolution is more than just a theory";
and on this one sentence spoken privately to scientists the non-Catholic world makes the reprehensible allegation that the Catholic Church backs Charles Darwin. The Church does NOT back Darwin's evolution, and the charge is just another typical slander by ignorant or biggoted non-Catholics.

Catholic scholars explaining this statement have said that by the time the French translation appeared in the English speaking secular media they had butchered the Pope's actual statement, which was probably more like: "there is more than one theory of evolution". But in any case, the Holy Father was merely giving his own personal thoughts on the subject, as was NOT declaring it to be Catholic belief. In fact, when he read that statement it was addressed directly to scientists of the Ponfifical Acedemy, and had nothing whatsoever to do with official Catholic teaching.

The Catholic teaching of Papal infallibility is not what most non-Catholics, (and even many Catholics), think it is. This 'infallibility' is strictly limited to matters of salvation, (faith and morals), hence it is extremely narrow in scope. Any Pope can speak or treat of any subject whatsover that is not involved with doctrinal beliefs, and when he does so he does it strictly as a private doctor. The ignorance out there by non-Catholics is astounding sometimes.

"Yes he finally spoke out against homosexuals in the priesthood, after 50 yrs of homosexual molestation of boys and hundreds of millions paid in damages. The estimates are that the priesthood is 1/3 homosexual as opposed to the 5% homos in the population; having 1 out of 3 priests gay is knowingly ordaining homosexuals."

May God forgive me, but you are truly a moron. Your "estimates" are pulled right out of your @rse.

The Catholic Church decided what books went into the Bible, not vice-versa. This 'haphazard' understanding of the Bible in the Catholic Church has an entire 2,000 years of historical explanation, as well as a Teaching Magisterium of which the Bible must be understood through.

So Catholics say! There are very good reasons Catholic and Protestant Bibles are different.

"having 1 out of 3 priests gay is knowingly ordaining homosexuals"

In a sense, yes -- you know that some of the priests you ordain will be gay. That doesn't mean you know which ones are which. As for Cardinal Law and all those guys, though, that's obviously unconscionable.

Still, with a Vatican Cardinal 200 years hence supporting it on 01/20/2206, it seems the Catkolic Church acceptance of evolution is pretty long standing.

Not pulled out of my arse:

http://atheism.about.com/od/catholicismandgays/a/gaypriests_2.htm

And from: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/07102005/325/gay-men-catholic-priests-celibate-paper.html

In his book "The Changing Face of the Priesthood," Father Donald Cozzens estimated that some 40 percent of U.S. priests are gay but only a tiny minority are practising homosexuals.

One source says "25% or greater" another is 40%; that averages to one out of three. Pulled out of my arse indeed! (no pun intended)

Lets not forget that traditionally Catholic Church was defending politically correct sciences.
Maybe Catholic Church should be more focused on their spiritual responsibilities.
