Now you've got it. It's all over and it's all New York City's fault!

Yeah, but they grow bigger as the Italians disappear.
Then again, lots of gay Eurotrash Italians on the Upper East Side today.
My big fear has been that New York would become like Seattle or San Francisco: Dominated by bland transplanted yuppies and guppie. My visit in December proved that it is not (yet) the case.

The Italians are being displaced by the Chinese -- THEY'VE CROSSED CANAL!
These things go in cycles, you know that. The stock market takes a major hit and back comes the nitty and the gritty.

Worse. The Chinese are now taking over Bensonhurst and Gravesend! Better them than the Puerto Ricans I guess. ;-)
(I say this as a Polish/Italian mutt who is looking for a Boricua Barbie)
I look forward to some of the nitty and the gritty. The only things I can't stand are the squeegee men and the wolf packs (although the latter could easily be dispatched via some Bernie Goetz wannabes).

"This ping is faster than a New York minute! That's longer than it's worth listening to any Democrat, especially one from NY.
"Quinn's election "is a testament to the skill and passion that the gay community can offer in the public arena, and that sexual orientation should never be a barrier," DeCicco said."
Being queer is not nearly as common as the queer community would have you believe and it certainly is not normal. Queer behavior may be a testament to their passion, but it is also a testament to their lack of self-control and lack of judgment. They are to be pitied, not admired or elected to lead.
Quinn's election is also a testament to the lack of judgment of the City Council of New York and a testament of the lack of judgment of the voters who elected them regarding the examples of leadership they want for the youths of America.

Don't think the Pres would even give a flip about this one.LOL
Never quite understood the fascination with two girls. That means there are two less women on the market while two guys means less competition!
Gotta keep it in perspective. ;)
