There's something about Thanksgiving that truly brings out the hate in America's most miserable extremists. Some of the most notorious fresh examples:

From Bill Schechner at San Francisco's KPIX:

Arab-Owned Liquor Stores Attacked In Oakland

OAKLAND Security tapes from the San Pablo Liquor Market on 23rd and San Pablo Ave. in Oakland show 11 men dressed in the manner of members of the Nation of Islam walking into the market at about 11:30 Wednesday night.

After confronting the clerk behind the counter they push him aside, topple some groceries, open the wine, soda and alcohol coolers and throw the goods on the floor. Working in the store at the time, the owner's son, 17-year-old Khalid Saleh, who said one of the men was armed....

...Next example, still in the Moonbat-rich Bay Area:

Native Americans mourn loss of land with "Unthanksgiving" rite

ALCATRAZ ISLAND, United States (AFP) - A tribal chant rose from a thousands-strong prayer circle on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay as Native Americans held a sunrise "Unthanksgiving Day" ceremony.

"What we call it is Unthanksgiving," Bear Lincoln of the Wailikie Tribe told AFP as he waved burning sage to purify the area and ward off evil spirits....

How DARE these "Native Americans" complain about their ancestors being slaughtered and their lands stolen?! They should just shut up & take it! This is America - there's no room for opinions other than those of the majority!

God Bless America!!

Governor Warner Proclaims Day of the American Indians

RICHMOND — Governor Mark R. Warner today hosted the annual American Indian Tax Tribute at the Executive Mansion. The annual ceremony commemorates the tax offering to the Governor of the Commonwealth from the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Indian Nations - two of the oldest American Indian reservations in our country. A copy of the following proclamation was read at today’s event:
Day of the American Indians

WHEREAS, Virginia has long been the home to thousands of American Indians, including the Great Chief Powhatan, father of Pocahontas, who ruled more than thirty tribes encompassing the Powhatan Chiefdom, when British settlers first arrived and settled at Jamestown in 1607; and

WHEREAS, Chief Powhatan’s tribes made up the majority of tribes located in present day Virginia when the British settlers landed, stretching from the coastal plains westward, deep into the Virginia Piedmont; and

WHEREAS, in 1607, the first permanent English speaking settlement in North America was established at Jamestown, and a working relationship of mutual cooperation between American Indians and the European colonists helped provide stability, education and security crucial to the founding of our great Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, in 1646, in an effort to safeguard the existence of the tribes that were crucial to the early development and survival of our Commonwealth, the Virginia General Assembly officially established the Mattaponi and the Pamunkey Indian Reservations; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Treaty Between Virginia and the Indians, which was ratified in 1677 as an agreement between England’s Lord Charles II, Virginia’s Governor Herbert Jeffreys and the Kings and Queens of Indian tribes throughout Virginia, the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Indian tribes have since maintained the tradition of paying tribute to the Governor of Virginia by presenting gifts of wild game in lieu of taxes; and

WHEREAS, Chief Carl “Lone Eagle” Custalow ascended to the Mattaponi tribe’s highest position in 2003 and Chief William P. “Swift Water” Miles has led the Pamunkey tribe since 1990, and both leaders continue to observe the tradition of cooperation between their tribes and the Office of the Governor by presenting gifts of fish and wild game at the Governor’s Mansion in late November of each year;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mark R. Warner, do hereby recognize November 26, 2003, as DAY OF THE AMERICAN INDIANS in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and I call this observance to the attention of all our citizens.
