Fax sent to CEOs of Parent Companies Of History Channel which portrays the Crusaders in history as the evil antagonists against the more innocent Muslims . [FAX WAS SENT IN CAPS]

DEAR PRESIDENT OF HEARST, NBC, ABC, PARENT COMPANIES OF A&E - ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT TV (HISTORY CHANNEL);

IT HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY CLEAR THAT THE HISTORY CHANNEL HAS REALLY BECOME THE HEARSTORY CHANNEL.

ABC, NBC, AND HEARST ARE EVIDENTLY GUIDING YOUR EDITORIAL POLICY WHILE ALTERING HISTORY.

I TRIED TO WATCH YOUR BIASED PORTRAYAL OF THE CRUSADES WHICH DEPICTED THE CRUSADERS AS THE WORSE POSSIBLE BUNGLING, DECEPTIVE LOUTS, WHILE MUSLIMS WERE GENERALLY TREATED AS A MORE "CONCILIATORY" GROUP. WE SEE THIS SAME BIAS IN THE NEWS AS PRESENTED BY ABC, NBC, AND HEARST- YOUR PARTNERS. NO COINCIDENCE.

ALSO, DON'T YOU THINK YOU HAVE CENTERED ON HITLER ENOUGH, AND THAT IT MAY BE TIME TO ALSO TELL OF THE HORRIBLE HISTORY OF ATROCITIES COMMITTED BY SOVIET AND CHINESE COMMUNISTS?

INDEED, THE HISTORY CHANNEL IS ACTUALLY THE HEARSTORY CHANNEL, AND IT IS JUST SO MUCH CRAP.

SINCERELY, JC AKRON

I think you about covered the waterfront all in one ALL CAPS spew.....

Chinese, Soviets, Hitler, Crusades, Crusaders, Bungling, Louts, Muslims, ABC, Hearst, NBC, A & E.

Now if'n you'd only said something about Republicans and Democrats, Conservatives and Liberals then things would have been fine.

I watched this yesterday, and in my humble opinion I thought it was very well done. Atrocities by both sides were presented. Maybe it's just me but I didn't see anthing to get excited about.

Thanks Sean -- this post was posted before the series as folks were worried that it would be aChristian bashing feast. Did the show start off by talking about how the Christian lands of Syria, Egypt, North Africa etc. were Christian and slowly converted / persecuted? Did they talk about the persecution of pilgrims to the Holy Land?

I don't think there is any question who financed that expensive piece of poorly-written and poorly portrayed farcicle piece of trash. What is really surprising is that the History Channel would dare to run such blatantly obvious propaganda. Even the HP members are sounding off.

I guess appeasement comes in all sizes, shapes and forms.

Another more accurate view of the Crusades below. Has the History Channel sold out? Or maybe run out of delusional "experts" to interview?
