After Michelle Malkin's scoop on Al Franken's violent promotional video was picked up by a number of major websites, public focus turned to the latter's state of mind.
Between the bizarre clip and jokes about executing Bush, Rove and Cheney, has Franken gone completely nuts? Or is it some kind of bizarre book selling strategy?
In emails to the Radio Equalizer, readers thought that while it might help his Amazon sales ranking, these antics could hurt a potential 2008 Minnesota US Senate run. In the process of moving back to his home state, Franken has long been mentioned as a future candidate.

It takes quite an effort to come up with a list of truly violent right-wing regimes.
But violence is second nature for Leftists:
Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Guevara, Arafat, Al Franken etc.
The left dehumanizes their opponents and dreams of destroying them. Leftism is a mental disease.

I think it's an insanity plea to the probable investigation into the theft of $875k in Boys and Girls club funds he was aware of.
But that's just me.

He was being interviewed this morning on CNN about his book. I'm not sure exactly what the question was but his answer was "...and that's what they call treason. So Libby and Rove should be taken out and executed." At that point, the interview came to what I thought was a rather abrupt end, so abrupt that it appeared that Franken looked to be totally caught off guard (it had only last a couple of minutes by this point). As I watched it, it occurred to me that EVEN CNN is starting to realize how unfunny, unhinged, ridiculous and counterproductive this slime is to the cause.

Strategy? No, he's just nuts.

Maybe they realize that Franken and the left aren't joking about wanting their political foes executed.

We here know Al Franken is a stone nut. My problem is how do we get the message to the mass of people. Even FOX is in my estimation now left leaning. For instance, today a Democrat and a Republican were interviewed. The moderator gave the CRAT 75% of the time with talking points and the Republican got 25% and was interrupted. This is balanced? And as far as the big "O", he is the most uninformed jacka@@ on TV.

bizarre clip and jokes about executing Bush, Rove and Cheney Could this be construed as "threatening the President's life"?
Call the Secret Service and inquire. (Drop a dime on the little $#!^head and MAYBE he'll shut up!)

We need to make sure that this maniac stays on the air so there will be no doubt about the insanity of the left.
Maybe one of those conservative/liberal shows like Hannity and Colmes.
We could team him up with a brilliant conservative: Ben Stein.
Franken/Stein.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Proximity to Halloween.

. . .now thats a good possibility. . .and a strategy that has potential.
Otherwise. . .this is just a Franken version of the 'Dean scream'. . .and it did not help him at election time. . .
