Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean complained that the timing of Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquists death was highly suspicious.
Last year, Reagan conveniently died just in time to take attention away from Bushs failed Iraq War and boost Bushs chances for reelection, said Dean. Now, in the midst of Bushs failure to prevent the extermination of downtrodden, minority New Orleans hurricane victims, Justice Rehnquist conveniently dies. Am I the only one who sees a pattern here?
Dean charged that presidential advisor Karl Rove was masterminding these strategically timed deaths of conservative icons. Not only do these deaths distract Americans from Bushs blunders, they also serve as a cover for Roves nefarious scheme to suppress Democratic voter turnout in next years Congressional elections by evacuating New Orleans hurricane victims to other states, claimed Dean.
Dean demanded that the Democratic Party be authorized to cast absentee ballots on behalf of the evacuated hurricane victims. These dispersed people are mostly poor and uneducated, said Dean. Many are on welfare. Others are driven to a life of crime. These are the people the Democratic Party represents. Who could object to us casting their ballots for them during this time of turmoil?
Dean said he will be working with key members of Congress to draft enabling legislation.

Sorry, but no. Get this man on prime time TV!
Please tell me this is sourced from the Onion... what a sick bastard.
I changed my position once Yankee should me the light.
called dean a republican recruiter. and I would have to agree.
Dean is one smart guy. Are the documents for "Tom Delay's Redistricting" plan well hidden?
Talk about pathalogical thinking!
If I didn't see the topics, I would've believed it.
The Satires on the RatBlamers are in full gear.. and to be honest they are getting easier to write since all one has to do is read what they actually say and do.. oh maybe just stretch a hair but thats all. ;-D
"Had me going for a minute. It wouldn't have surprised me."
Sometimes you just can't tell. Remember what they said about the capture of Saddam Hussein.
Gaurentee 8 out of 10 dems would read that story and agree with it . Very sad the satire and reality are close cousins when it comes to the Dems . It would be nice to circulate this story and let them run with it awhile.Good for a laugh and very telling as well.
Man, if those documents ever see the light of day, we'll have to whack Jimmy Carter just to cause a distraction.
Great tagline, btw. I heard Ken Blackwell speak last night at the Lakewood Republican Organziation, he is an amazing candidate.
He forgot to include Hollywood- whoopie's. She sure has been awfully quiet during all this.
"Dean Suspicious of timing of Rehnquist's Death..."
Right, like we could really help Rehnquist dying of NATURAL CAUSES.
That is hilarious. The funniest thing is that it is true.
You NAILED IT! It is sad but at the same time, outrageously hilarious. That's what makes DemocRATS such easy targets. You can say the most absurd things about DemocRATS and most intelligent people will never figure out that you're pulling their leg. LOL!
That is hilarious. The funniest thing is that it could be true.
I think his comment is not referencing serrendipidy. He thinks Bush had Renquist offed for political diversion. Sick bastard./
LOL!
It is satire.
