August 6, 2005 marks the 60th anniversary of the US bombing of Hiroshima. The Atomic Bomb, which decimated the Japanese city and its people, was never used in combat again. This day is also the anniversary of another bomb that was dropped 4 years ago, this time into the lap of President Bush in the form of a memo titled Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the US. While on yet another extended vacation at his Crawford ranch, the President chose to neglect his duties as Commander in Chief by refusing to act decisively and immediately on this impending threat, leading to the worst terrorist attack in American history. These anniversaries remind us to learn from our past actions in order to ensure a safer more secure future.

Uhhh...Babs is correct. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima never was used again.
I have been corrupted by Jesuit training.
Last year Baghdad Babs failed both English grammar and English Lit with her pitiful attempt at quoting Shakespeare. This year she fails History.
This is from her website? It sounds like it was written by a fourth grader. Oh wait, DOH! She barely finished highschool, right?
Nor nearly as good-looking.
She is a total idiot indeed, absent her singing "talent" which peaked about 40 years ago IMO, she'd probably be a waitress taking orders in a Brooklyn deli, and probably getting half of 'em wrong anyhow...life ain't fair;)
We get thousands of threats a day against our nation.
Bush alone probably gets several hundred threats to his life every day. Some probably are even credible.
The difference between Bush and Clinton is that Bush did something after 9-11 while your hero Clinton did as good as nothing after WTC I (1993), Kohbar towers, USS Cole, Embassies...... It was Clinton who failed Rwanda, nearly botched up the Balkans and then after the fact adopted the exact plan he attacked Bush Sr. on during the first elections. It was Clinton who botched up Somalia (You do realize that under Bush Sr. things went well there), and now you Ms. Streisand want to somehow twist reality to make it sound like Bush failed us?
The difference between Bush and Clinton is that Clinton downplayed any threat while Bush is trying to neutralize it. Clinton wasnt oblivious to what was going on, he just chose to put his personal interest ahead of that of the nation.

LOL! Well I was taught by nuns and I like the way you think!
I _think_ the bomb too a LITTLE more than 10%...
Gee I didn't know that being a washed up hag faced has been lounge lizard made you an expert on geopolitics!
They banned presidio9 who posted this crap, but they haven't pulled the crap.
Maybe they liked your song too much!
No. The one on the right gets my vote.
Than anyone this stunningly, stullifyingly stupid could rise ( however fleetingly ) to the heights she did just astounds me to no end. Then again, the country re-elected the Clintons...
Who was President in 1996? Anyone remember?
ROFL on your Post #25!
Shut your f'in piehole, you washed up piece of sh*t!
In a perfect world, we would have time travel technology, which would be the playtoy of the hoi polloi, and somehow, someway, Babs would stumble her way right INTO Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, just about 60 seconds before Little Boy did his glorious work on the Japanese Empire.
Kinda gives ya a nice warm feeling, eh?
Paging Robert Smith...
