Our son is now a Law Enforcement Officer (vanity)

Our son graduated from the Lubbock, Texas Police Academy last Friday. Needless to say Mrs. ladtx and I are extremely proud of him. He will make a good police officer. He's married with 2 step children and is an NCO in the Army Reserves with a year in Mosul, Iraq under his belt. Lubbock has gained a good man.

My compliments and congratulations. The job is truly a puta, but I couldn't imagine doing anything else for twenty years.
Having a year of active service under his belt makes for a better officer.
(And if there's any Scot-Irish in his bloodline, he'll be Chief of Detectives within a couple of years)

Congrats and my God protect him. I was LEO for 12 years ( undercover natc for 8 ) and had to get out or go nuts.

He's going to need all the support available real soon......And it sounds like he has very proud parents and wife who will stay behind him 100%! I remember that antisipation and excitement of that first week....WoW....Lots of luck to him!

He still has 15 weeks of field training to go through and he says that it is supposed to be even tougher than the academy. After spending a year in Mosul I suspect he's up to it.

Shame he isn't a Texas Ranger, then we could get him to arrest Eaker, Squantos, and humblegunner for moral turpitude.

Congratulations neighbor, tell your son we're proud of him. Not too many willing to take on that responsibility anymore. Is he going to work for the Lubbock PD, or was he sponsored by another department?

Retired 21 yrs Sheriffs Department.

Again???

I'm still confused from the last time, since we usually
use acetone, not turpitude. It's a better solvent.

The older I get the less turpitude I got.

Congrats Ladtx!

Tell him to keep an eye on the New Mexican border too. Every now and then Slim tries to sneak across!

It'd take a ranger......:o)

Aside I thought you accused us of multiple counts of highway mopery with intent to molest an armadillo vs moral turpitude ?
