DUmmie FUnnies 05-06-05 ("TomPaine.com: What didn't happen in Ohio")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | May 6, 2005 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 05/06/2005 4:03:32 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

DUmmieland is in an uproar because the Leftwing TomPaine.Com website published an article claiming that there was NO vote fraud conspiracy in Ohio. This is heresy in the eyes of the DUmmies because one of their most treasured beliefs is that the EVIL Republicans STOLE the election by rigging the votes in Ohio. One side effect of this belief is that it made Bev Harris a very rich woman since she scammed the DUmmies for at least $300,000 by making them think she was only $10 away from proving vote fraud in Ohio. There are actually two DUmmie threads expressing their OUTRAGE over the TomPaine.Com article. The first THREAD is titled, "’What Didn't Happen in Ohio’ This article DEMANDS a response!” and the second THREAD is simply titled, “TomPaine.com: What didn't happen in Ohio.” Both these threads have the typical lunatic DUmmie responses so both will be DUFUed. As usual, the rantings of the DUmmies unable to let go of their sacred Ohio vote fraud beliefs are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, with $10 in his pocket that he did NOT send to Bev Harris, is in the [brackets]:

“For casting doubt on the conspiracy theory, TomPaine.com and I received virtual barrels of e-mail, most from angry anti-Bush activists who could not believe that their hard work had been for naught. I also heard from Steven Freeman, a University of Pennsylvania professor and author of a widely cited study that served as the primary basis for the pro-theft-theory folks, The Unexplained Exit Poll Discrepancy . His remarks, and my response to them, appeared on TomPaine.com.”

[For casting doubt on the Ohio vote fraud conspiracy, I brand you a HERETIC!!! Let the Auto Da Fe begin!]

“Privately, I heard from many Democratic officials, election reform advocates and analysts from inside Ohio and elsewhere, who believed my reporting to be accurate, and who were more than a little perturbed by the frenzy, which they found a counterproductive distraction from the serious ongoing effort to reform election practices. Since the debate refuses to die, this seems a good time to trumpet the arrival of not just one, but two, new technical analyses that cast further doubt upon the conspiracy theories out there. The author of the first is an earnest young fellow in San Diego named Rick Brady.”

[Privately I’ve heard that the only loons left believing in the Ohio vote fraud conspiracy are the DUmmies and Teh-RAY-suh Heinz.]

”So, absent the emergence of true polling methodology experts screaming theft, we may reasonably conclude that no evil genius rigged the results. Instead, what we experienced was probably an amalgam of system failings, miscalculations, incompetence, and, in some cases, the variably successful exertions of biased election officials. These are, at worst, symptoms of gaming the system, a deplorable practice hardly limited to this election or, historically, to one party. The anomalies being cited, including by Christopher Hitchens—apparently without any notable independent verification—in a widely cited Vanity Fair piece, may prove to be invalid, or attributable as well to other factors. Perhaps fraud occurred on an isolated basis, but no one has come forward with careful documentation—as opposed to hysterical—unscientific allegation.”

[No! No! Don’t wanna hear this! Don’t you know that Karl Rove was the EVIL genius that rigged the election?]

“Until the public becomes confident in the underlying integrity of the electoral apparatus in this country, none of the urgently needed improvements to that system can take place. That’s why the conspiracy-mongering must cease. Can we instead please turn now to the many substantive proposals already being proffered to make things better—including pending legislation? Let’s keep our eye on the real ball that’s in our court.”

[Hey! Don’t tell me when I have to cease my mongering! Now that we have seen portions of this article, let us now take a look at the DUmmie outraged reaction to it.]

Bullshit! I saw it with my own eyes. I heard it w/ my own ears. I live in Columbus, Ohio too.

[And I saw space aliens land on Washington Mall with my own eyes. I heard it w/ my own ears. I live in the state of Insanity.]

Congratulations! More self-defeating bullshit, naysaying. Wunderbar!

[When even the far left TomPaine website thinks that the DUmmies are a bunch of moonbats, you know they are really far gone.]

Two very close elections. Two Republican Secs of State. Both Republican Secs of State doing double duty as Bush's state campaign chairs. Diebold machines manufactured and in use in key counties in both states. Big GOP donors running Diebold. Not least, a strong racist undertone re voter-access -- longer lines in heavy black precincts, etc. In sum, that is the infrastructure of cheating. Bush-Cheney cheated. Kerry-Edwards won.

[You certainly do present a convincing case…. that your oxygen supply was turned off at a young age.]

WE ARE NOT GOING TO STOP UNTIL JUSTICE IS DONE!

[THE COMEDY WILL NEVER END!]

I just emailed Russ Baker begging him to tell me this is satire.

[So sorry. It’s the bitter truth.]

my response is that he's right on…And I would add that I've suspected for a long time that some of the "activism" is actually intended to deliberately create and nourish unwarranted distrust in the system for malicious reasons.

[And this Dummie wins a Kewpie doll for having a very brief moment of mental clarity!]

DUmmie math, which has no relation to real mathematics.

I have no idea, but the nose detects that they never got the first $25,000, and here the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson is cavorting around Ohio, instead of staying close by the hospital in Maryland, so as to check in as soon as the last cent of the FIRST $25,000 is confirmed.

I made a prediction--the behavior of the criminal mind is soooooo predictable--some days ago, in a prior edition of the DUmmie FUnnies.....and so far (even though this story has a long ways to go) it seems headed that direction.

The criminal mind is soooooo predictable.

You're kidding - they've just given $32k away to some stranger? Lovely. They're getting scammed big time over there.

I don't think hospitals deny surgery to people who will die without it - just like they can't deny treating illegal aliens. But, of course, maybe Hopkins is different. (yeah, right!)

The DUmmies being scammed is an old old old story; I think that's why P.J. avoids these stories in the DUmmie FUnnies; there's just so many of them, and they all have exactly the same beginnings, plots, and endings.

It gets monotous in its repetition, DUmmie criminal behavior.

I think this latest is rich material for the DUmmie FUnnies, but it is not half over, or even a tenth over, yet, and my humble suggestion to the always-brillant P.J. is that, if he in fact is considering this for the DUmmie FUnnies, to wait a while, to see how this all plays out.

I am trying to devise a "DUmmie PANIC Alert" logo--like the "siren" on the Drudge Report; perhaps something like the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson rotating his head--so as to "break in" with any new reports of panic and disarray among the DUmmies.

Yup! Waiting for the DUmmie Scam to Slam shut on them.

I saw it with my own eyes. I heard it w/ my own ears. I live in Columbus, Ohio too.

Acid trips don't count.

Congratulations! More self-defeating bullshit, naysaying.

When people at the flat-Earth Society bring in the NASA satellite shots, they're called self-defeating, too.

Two very close elections. Two Republican Secs of State. Both Republican Secs of State doing double duty as Bush's state campaign chairs. Diebold machines manufactured and in use in key counties in both states.

140,000 votes is close? Oh, and you know what? If I change SecState to "Governor," then we have the exact same situation we saw in Wisconsin, where some precincts had 150% turnout and Kerry "won" by less than 6,000 votes. Oops.

my response is that he's right on…And I would add that I've suspected for a long time that some of the "activism" is actually intended to deliberately create and nourish unwarranted distrust in the system for malicious reasons.

This DUmmie is close: The "activism" is mostly narcissistic. If you believe you're a wonderful patriot because you really, really hate Chimpus Khan with every cell in your body, then you can't understand why people wouldn't see the same truth. So you either end up hating them for not being as wise as you, or you end up believeing they do agree with you but were screwed over. It's all about the intersection of hate and ego.

PJ, I have the Gabor sister's lawyer on line one...something about suing your ass into poverty for public defamation of character...or maybe that should be DUFUmation of character.

Well, I'm still waiting for the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson to do something about voting fraud in his own front yard, the state of Washington, instead of tip-toeing and traipsing around the country on everyone else's dime.

That would require that he love his counry and our franchise more than he hates GWB, and that ain't happening with any DUmmie.

Uh, apparently you're new to this, the DUmmie FUnnies.

But anyway, while others here generally respect the privacy of DUmmies, the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson is a public figure, and so ostensibly can take all of the bricks tossed at him.

The felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson allegedly has pancreatic cancer, and since he is ungainfully unemployed, the Washington (state) Department of Social Services agreed to take care of it for him.

Then the DUmmies decided this was not "good enough;" the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson, like his mentor Bev Harris, had to have "the best," and so started this fund-raising so as to get him into Johns Hopkins in Maryland.

Now, I cannot speak for everybody, but it seems to me that most members of Free Republic, if diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and with no medical insurance, would grasp at any offers of social services assistance; after all, pancreatic cancer is serious business, and it is not the time to worry about 5-star restaurant menus in the hospital.

The plot "thickens" in that pancreatic cancer is fast-moving, and must be addressed immediately.....but the felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson has been playing around with this since January (coincidentally the same time he was fired by his mentor, Bev Harris, for stealing from her).

January was a very long time ago.

The felonious DUmmie Andy Stephenson, a public figure, deserves no credibility--after all, this was the guy who stole money to pay for personal long distance telephone calls, cigarettes, and underwear, on Bev Harris' hard-gotten dime.

The guy is a freeloader, nothing more.

I really haven't heard anything about this whole fundraising thing over there, not that I really care if they're stupid enough to spend their $$ on some stranger...

But, I've been reading the FUnnies since 9/04. I was #100 on the ping list. :-)

All week long, they raved about what a "great place" Johns Hopkins is. Now they're damning it.

Hey, I have a certificate from Johns Hopkins saying I'm a certified genius! Fill your hands, DUMMIES!

What's really amusing about this is that the DUmmies contributed money to reveal that something was rigged, and now they're pissed because their money didn't give them the results they wanted...but if they want "the truth" then why are they pissed when the investigation by no friend of W's showed the truth?

I guess the DUmmies have revealed that they are just angry that they don't know how to rig "research" any better than the Republicans know how to rig elections.

You morons wanted the truth. You got it. Now stop calling "Conspiracy!" just because you didn't get the secret toy surprise you wanted, you ignorant children.

"It never occurs to these moonbats, that long lines could indicate large voter turnout, not lack of machines!"

They tried to pull that excuse in Florida too, until it was pointed out that, like Ohio, the precincts that the most problems where the ones run by Dems. How stupid is it to allege fraud when the problem is that your own people are too incompetent to design a proper ballot or provide enough voter machines?

Exactly. If there were any *serious* leads re election fraud in Ohio, you know George Soros would spare no expense to prove it was stolen.
