I have discovered a fascinating resource for those still interested in the facts of the Terri Schiavo case. It is a website that contains much original material from the case, including documents and transcripts of testimony that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

There are excerpts of Michael Schiavo’s testimony at the trial over her wishes, here. The excerpts contain all of his direct testimony, and the beginning of the cross-examination. Here are some of the excerpts I found interesting:

Page 27:

To your knowledge, while living with

10 Terri, did you know whether or not she ever had an

11 eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia?

12 A I did not. No. There was speculation

13 made to that, but there was nothing ever proven in

14 court as to that diagnosis.

Page 60:

18 Q I think you testified that you told

19 Mr. Schindler that you gave your money away?

20 A Yes. I did.

21 Q Was that a correct statement?

22 A No. It was not.

23 Q Why did you say this?

24 A Just basically to shut him up because he

25 was screaming.

Pages 61-62:

13 Q did you ever tell the nursing home not

14 to give the Schindlers information on Terri’s

15 medical condition?

16 A At one point, yes.

17 Q Why did you do that?

18 A When Terri was in the hospital for, I

19 believe a urinary tract – no. I forget what she

20 was in the hospital for. It was for some

21 hospitalization. And the Schindlers never showed

22 up or even called about her care.

This may be a PERFECTLY good resource for looking up sworn testimony from the year 2000 trial, when Pamela Campbell was the Schindler's attorneys, and Terri lost and was sentenced to death, but it seems to be JUST THAT.

None of the later affidavits in Terri's favor, or doctors coming forth in her favor, and none of the stuff Greer dis-allowed seems to be there.

We also do NOT KNOW who purple_kangaroo_angela at geocities.com is... They could be offering up unbiased court records today, but varnished GREER turdballs tomorrow. Who knows?

Another thing I'd like to see, is someone posting the court records from the 1992 malpractice trial, because in THAT trial, Michael testified THE OPPOSITE. He and his lawyer both said Terri WAS RESPONSIVE, and therefore NOT PVS.



Now, a word of warning when trying to do your own research, everyone should BE very WARY of the 'bloggers' page and court-groupie sites that try to RAM JUDGE GREER's "facts"opinions down your throat! If the website is pushing COURT CONCLUSIONS, or facts <-- (run-like-he11 when that word is unquoted), it is horse-hockey!

I was quickly scanning some the the testimony the poster provided. In one exchange Mickey said she drank a lot of coke and no iced tea. Way down on the transcript, he reversed himself and said she drank a lot of iced tea. If it is important I can reference that tomorrow.

no, you dont have to followup on that for my sake, I think Michael is a neanderthal and he has a hard time remembering his lines on the stand or on TV. His lawyer frequently has to help him out.

I especially don't care about the coke vs iced tea, because that's all related to the bulemia story used to BILK 2 million from OUR health-care-system, and that whole sham trial was cockandbull as far as I'm concerned.

The only GOOD points from that trial, was Michael and his lawyer INSISTING the EXACT opposite of what he later claimed.... In 1992 he testified that Terri WAS RESPONSIVE, and therefore NOT PVS.

The Purple Kangaroo appears to be on Terri Schiavo's side in this, and has material that terrisfight.org doesn't have.

I just happened to pick that up because I have seen more that one poster mention 'iced tea' as the culprit. They didn't seem that intelligent and not the type to put that out without help. As I told one poster, 'iced tea has lots of potassium'. No response.

There are also videos from that peirod (1992 or 1993) that show Terri responding to his urgings regarding what can be seen on the lake they are beside (with her in a wheelcahir having neck support) and she is clearly shown swallowing on her own and licking her lips with purpose. Those are not the actions a PVS patient is capapble of, but they did aid in winning the lawsuit for monies to provide rehab therpay and support for the next 51 years of Terri's life. As we all now know, the monster Terri married halted ALL therpay as soon as he won the malpractice suits, and even threatened anyone giving even minimal care to Terri's therapy to prevent deterioration of her condition. The bastard is a monster abuser via force neglect lasting more than a decade!

I am certain that if the lamestream media alphabet lickspittlists could gaet them and show them (and that's where I saw them, on FOX, CNN and MSNBC), Freepers can find and post them. I would even bet you've seen excerpts but didn't realize how instructive they were regarding NOT PVS.

And I have seen tiny bits and pieces of the wheelchair video around the lake. I'd LOVE to see the whole thing. IIRC the tiny snippets of that were only on MSNBC, never FNC.

EWTN has had some marvelous snippets that I never saw on other channels as well. In some of THOSE Terri REALLY REALLY looks responsive, lifting her head and looking and smiling straight into the camera.

I suspect each new channel hoarded its own video. I'd love to SEE `em ALL!!!

you're right, I've heard some dolts too, harping on the Iced Tea thing, especially during holy week when the jerks were trying to throw every possible insult at us and Terri, that they could come up with.

I too would love to see them all. But it only takes one look at her swallowing and licking her lips and following directions of where her then husband was pointing to realize she was not then in PVS. It is the primary reason I continue to harp upon the fact that the monster cut off ALL therapy as soon as he had the lawsuit monies, because she would have declined steadily without rehab therapy from the improvements that aided the monster in winning the lawsuits for the 51 years of funds for Terri's care. I believe he realized she would never recover to his satisfaction so he decided to put her away then have her put down. Sadly, he suceeded through the complicity (knowingly or unknowingly) of a corrcupted court system in Florida, but he abused Terri (through forced neglect) for more than a decade to accomplish it, telling me that she had a strong will to live more than a decade ago; she was probably fighting very hard to improve through the therapy. May God have mercy on that monster's soul, but what He does with Felos will befit the evil.

...oh GOODIE! the 1992 transcripts ARE THERE! lots of reading to follow...

...but I have a gripe already.
They quoted Michael and Wolfson for that 3 weeks where MICHAEL brought Terri home.

The DEATH-GHOULS absolutely LOVE that Wolfson quote, so it would be good to correct it if possible.
I wonder if the website is open to researching and correcting that part of the timeline...

Michael was in charge of Terri at that time
Michael brought Terri home in 1990, He may have been broke
Michael was not working
Michael was living with (sponging off) the Schindlers
Michael was living off of Terri's disability checks from Prudential as well
Michael was making ALL THE DECISIONS
Michael testified that Terri's MOM was always complaining in those 3 weeks that Terri
needed the professional's help that she had been getting at the rehabilitation hospital.
Michael testified that Terri's DAD never lifted a finger to help him care for Terri

[my opinion from that is Terri's dad agreed with Terri's mom that Michael had
no business taking her out of professional therapy. I also deduce from this
that Terri's mom DID help Michael with at LEAST some Terri's care, but finally
MICHAEL (not 'the family') gave in to Mrs.Schindlers demands after three weeks ]


There are also some 1994 depositions 'out there' that this website doesnt have,
and those are helpful because they show how clearly Michael had turned on a
dime... Oops, on ten million dimes.

Those are ALL pretty darn good quotes you found. I should have read them more thoroughly right off the bat.

The ones where Michael sticks HIS OWN FOOT in his mouth, I'd have to believe.

The last one, where he denegrates the Schindlers,
well I'd have to hear THEIR side of the story first.

The same would hold true if the Schindlers admitted something
bad about themselves. I'd believe that outright, but if
the Schindlers said something bad about Michael, then I'd
have to hear Michael's take on the same story before deciding.
