Here's a thought. It's never been done in US history, but Jeb Bush could promise a pardon to anyone who helps Terri.
Just a thought. Pardons were meant for mercy, not for getting money from Clinton/Rodham crack dealer pardons.

That's BS. The Governor along with most others in the GOP ranks did everything within the law to save her. Lets not start eating our own....

This thing is incredibly stupid. Gov. Bush is a Governor! He's not a Dictator. And he has pushed his legal power to the limit trying to save this woman's life.

Jeb Bush's fault. George Bush's fault. Greer's fault. Michael's fault. FSSC fault. ACLU's fault. Clinton's fault. GOP's. democrat party fault. Santa's fault. Easter Bunny's fault.
There's more who else to blame?

What are you willing to do if Gov. Bush does NOT act according to your wishes?
Hundreds of posts are calling for the impeachment of Greer, Whittemore and every other judge who has found for the Michael Schiavo, for essentially not finding in Terri's favor. So if President George W. Bush, or Gov. Jeb Bush, fails to actor perhaps not actin Terri's interest, and he does not send in the troops, do we add their names to that list of people to impeach in this matter? I ask this not to be quarrelsome, but because that is exactly the argument that will be used by those on the left. We need to face the issue first. I want Terri's life to continue. I would like nothing more than to see her husband lose his rights are her guardian, but is this the step we want to take to make this happen?

Wait a minute. The Courts rule supreme in Florida. They are more powerful than the joint forces of the Legislature and the Governor. It's similar in any state.
Terri Schiavo is not a person; therefore, she has NO right to life. She is not a criminal; therefore, the Governor cannot pardon her. She is a plant--the property of a rather disturbed man named Michael Schiavo. So have ruled the Courts. Her species is not endangered; therefore, she cannot seek protection as such.
And "she" should be "it." But the judgments of the Courts are beyond appeal. And there is no legal mechanism to transform a plant into a person--even if the plant is genetically human.
Thanks to the Judges, this case fundamentally devolves into the question of whether Michael Schiavo must water a potted plant. The Courts have ruled that he has no such obligation, and since he prefers, he can wait for his potted plant to wither, wilt, and die, and then he may burn it.
Consider Terri Schiavo as a lawn weed. Does the Governor have the power to intervene on behalf of a lawn weed or a potted plant? No.

I think he's done about all he can do legally, although I have heard he is still searching for other approaches. He can't legally override the courts, unfortunately, and all of his attempts to get it out of the clutches of the judiciary have failed.
Terri is being executed by the courts, which are being manipulated by a group of people with ulterior motives (some practical, some ideological) who want her dead. Jeb Bush is not among them.

Numerous well-meaning people who have tried to feed
Terri--acting from simple respect for Judeo-Christian morality
and compassion--have been arrested by uniformed officers who
are acting on executive orders drawn up in conflict with the
clear written meaning of constitutional law. Soldiers offered Jesus liquid at the Crucifixion.
Many modern-day American judges evidently wouldn't have.

The Governor should grant a stay of execution. Heck, they do it for murderers, why not for the innocent victim in this case?
As his brother put it, "Error on the side of Life". If Jeb Bush remains quiet on this, I will have lost a lot of respect for him.

Right. It's the Republicans fault she dies. I see.
It's not the Judicial system, the Dems in opposition, the majority of the country that sanctioned this or the devil. No. It's the Republicans.
may I ask ALL who encourage vigilante action what they think they'll achieve? Think Terri's life will be spared? Because it won't. They'll be impeached while terri is returned to be killed. So then what is the purpose behind this action? To FEEL Good?
To: Maurice Tift
Don't be ridiculous. Michael Schiavo is her executioner. Jeb isn't her husband.

Gimme a break! Gov. Bush has done everything he can to try and save Terri. To say Gov. Bush authorized an execution in this case is extreme and delusional. Terri's "husband" is the one who has authorized an execution! Even freaking Dr. Kevorkian treated his "patients" with more dignity and care than Terri has ever received. Blame Michael, not anyone else who has actually TRIED to save an innocent woman.

Jeb is not the fault.
He is not an absolute monarch, he is a governor.
The problem is judicial abuse and laws that can be misused and don't protect in situations like Terri's.
