Dennis Prager explains why it's important to learn about the Holocaust

Today on his radio program, Dennis Prager had a caller ask him why it's important learn about the Holocaust. Dennis gave him three reasons:
- Evil exists in the world. It is out in the open in many places and it exists under the surface in many other places. We must be able to recognize it.
- The Holocaust was engineered by the most cultured nation on earth. It was created by Beethoven-loving, Mozart-loving, arts-loving, museum-visiting Germans. It was not the product of a backwater bones-through-the-nose society.
- Anti-Semites have always started with Jews but they always then gone on to others. A good example of this is that in today's world, the Islamofacists are not just content to go after Israel - they have also gone after the US, Spain, and even their own fellow Muslims in Iraq.
I thought it was a great and concise explanation. I'm trying to recall this from my less than perfect memory. If anyone can help me here, I'd appreciate it. :)

I like Dennis Prager's definition of a modern day liberal as one who denies the existance of evil. And then there are those who publically deny the existance of evil, and privately embrace evil.

I have switched from listening to Rush at that time slot to Dennis Prager. Dennis' show goes past the political stuff and towards a more philosophical view of conservatism - why we choose conservatism. The cultural implications (on 1280 The Patriot - in the People's Republic of Minnesota of all places, Dennis is followed by Michael Medved)

Thanks for the heads up.
Decisions...decisions...
(just kidding Rush)

Evil exists in the world. Why so much of the left doesn't get this is something I just don't understand. There are people in this world who only understand one thing, I have a large stick and if you're not nice I'll hit you with it.

Everyone has their opinion but I pick Dennis over Rush any day.
Depends on what I'm looking for on any given day.
Two different formats and styles..
I would dearly love to sit around for a couple of hours and chew the fat with him.

There is a mental pathology at work in Europe. The new trend is to blame US Jews led by David Horowitz as paranoid.
Lets see how many suicide bombings qualifies as a genuine problem.
To: Fred Hayek
Cool! I listen to Medved too. I also happen to love the fact that they are conservative Jews! I admire both of them.... what a contrast between these two men and Howard Stern, huh?
To: Valin
I agree. I'd love to sit down and chat with a lot of people - Rush, Prager, Medved, Laura Ingraham, and so on.... As Dennis says, "clarity, clarity, clarity." I wish we had some clarity with our politicians.
To: Paved Paradise
Depending on the topic, I'll switch back and forth between Rush and Dennis. However, when someone other than Walter Williams is guest hosting for Rush, I'll listen to Dennis.

Many terrible things have happened in the world throughout history. The holocaust was indeed one of these events.

doug, Do you know the best way to record DP's show while I'm at work for later listening. It seems timed recording is made for TV, but not radio. Or is it? Perhaps I'm missing something.
Thanks.

They have a device that lets you record several hours on the radio but I can't remember its name.

I love the Rockwell pic. She knows she is gonna catch h@!!, but she won just the same and the scumbag who pick the fight will think twice. Sorta like Israel and world opinion, "to hades with world opinion", Israel has a smile on her face and no UN is gonna wipe it off.

Prager's great. I used to get my big Rush rush. The Big 3 I always want to hear now are Laura Ingraham, Hugh Hewitt and Dennis Prager. Catholic, Protestant and Jew.
