I think Taft is being challenged in the 2006 Republican primary by Jim Petro, the current Ohio Attorney General, who seems pretty conservative. He's also being challenged by Republican Ken Blackwell, the current Ohio Secretary of State. I don't know much about Blackwell's stance on the issues.Taft is term limited. Someone other than his royal incompetence will be governor after '06
