Election Challenge likely on Jan 6th
If you haven't been following John Kerry closely, get ready to hear of surprising developments. The vote-defrauded, potential president-in-waiting has just indicated through his lawyer that the validity of George Bush's reelection is no longer a given.
On 23 December, 2004 Kerry's lawyer confirmed to MSNBC's 'Countdown' that John Kerry will be seeking (likely on Monday 27 Dec.) to expedite court proceedings in an ongoing recount suit by the Green and Libertarian parties. That might sound like just another "count every vote" exercise by the Kerry campaign, were it not for two important details.
Kerry's court filing will conjoin him to existing allegations that Triad Systems, a Republican-linked supplier of voting machines to around half of Ohio counties --"orchestrated" a covert campaign to thwart a legitimate recount in Ohio. If the allegation proves well founded, it could invalidate the Ohio recount and eventually even hand the presidency to John Kerry.

If this story is true, I nominate Lurch for'' Lunatic of the year''!
Seconded!
Al Gore wasn't 110,000 votes behind.
...the same day the Congress officially counts the votes cast by the Electoral College delegates back on December 22...
So basically the DUmmies are going to initiate a "challenge" to the election the same day it's already a done deal and officially called for George W. Bush...
Once the vote is counted in Congress, it's *over*, there are no provisions in the Constitution for a "do-over" of any sort.
This is like challenging a call by an umpire in a play-off game on the last day of the World Series...
John F*ckin's post-Election Day concession was always legally meaningless. Bush was down by a mere 242 votes in the recount. But if the Democrats are so stupid as to challenge a 119,000 vote margin on Jan. 6th, let em be our guests. They will really look like sore losers in front of the entire country and they don't even have proof of vote fraud in Ohio. Its one silly stunt that will go nowhere.
Three months and one week early.
Huh?
This is going to be a hard row for the National Socialist to Hoe!! First thet are going ot have to PROVE that there was fraud and I'm sure GWB's operatives have been holding the NS's hands all the way through this fiasco.
Three months and one week = APRIL FOOLLS DAY!
LOL.
You got me.
That is true. I thought the way he conceded so quickly and he got close to 1/2 the votes, that made him look better, and gave him a chance to run in 08. This should RUIN him. Hillary put him up to this, to help HER 08 chances.
The real objective of a challenge isn't to change the election outcome; its to throw in doubt the legitimacy of a Bush second term and to lay the groundwork for an impeachment drive at some point down the road. The Democrats have to be desperately suicidal to contest an election Bush won by a 3.5 million vote nationwide margin.
SORRY! APRIL FOOLS DAY!
John F. Kerry has lost this election...in more ways than one. The New York Democrats have managed to put their collective electoral votes into the archive for "John L. Kerry" whoever that may be. 31 votes into the toidy.
An elector managed to fubar his vote into voting for Edwards for President and Kerry for Vice President.
Ohio only has 20 votes, Kerry needs 32 more.
DK
These people are deranged -- and that picture makes Kerry look like the Tidee Bowl Man hanging on for dear life.
Let them have their fun now; they'll soon be slitting their wrists (figuratively speaking, hell, maybe even literally so) after all is said and done.
Actually, OH would have only 19 EVs for Kerry since one of his electors, Sherrod Brown, is invalid because he holds a federal office.
"If the whole country isn't republican, it is because those who aren't republican are stupid and criminally inclined."
Place emphasis on "criminally inclined."
