As a young Marine I served two tours in Vietnam. The second tour ended in wounds serious enough to make walking difficult for many months. I was met by a crowd that were the predcessors to the DU nutts and subjected to spitting, verbal abuse, and even a thrown punch.

Today I am the father of two Marines in Iraq with the equal amounts of pride and fear that brings. One of them is this minute in Fallujah.

I refuse to allow myself to dwell on people like the DU crowd. They pretend that the election isn't over, develop make believe theories on why the election didn't go their way while offering no alternatives or ideas of their own.

Freedom is worth defending whether it makes the DU happy or not. And thats all there is to say about that.
