Keep fighting the good fight, kid!

I think that the intro is not great, not good, possibly misleading.

You state that your's is a website for kids, yet at the website, you bluntly introduce them to tragedy.

That's not a good approach and will gain you much criticism.

You need some introduction to topics that are so serious, instead of dropping it on the kids' toes.

Just to let you know, you are the first who critized me about content. I will look at making the intro better. Thank you.

This time tomorrow, you will be on information overload. I already know how the vote will turn out, but I promised not to spill the beans.

Just my humble opinion, but kids need some instruction, some education, some introduction to the context of events that surround such a serious topic as the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Imagine that you are trying to help kids understand the bigger picture, so to speak, of items further in a museum, by introducing them, step by step, to some basics.

Kids need steps and they need things with which their minds can use some imagination to have what they are looking at, sink in; followed by the next step, that in turn, and again, engages their imagination, etc.

A teacher can walk into a room, show the class the table of elements, demand that they know it by Thursday, and then what?

Or, a teacher can show you, by only studying the gases, and a few metals, how scientists of some time ago, began to discover the secrets of the atom, and so you have taught them quite a lot of the understanding of chemistry, by their learning the basic steps of such discoveries.

In a way, all events for kids, is lab work, home work; the trick is to not make it much of a chore, but instead, an adventure.

Dagoofyfoot, I'm in SoCal (OC) also and it is great to see young conservatives in the NoCal area. I will visit their site anytime.

Nice feedback to our young conservative.

Hey Admins..............could it make sense for you to crate a KIDS FORUM......where young people, lets say advertise it from 12 to 17, whatever can meet and share with one another?

Just a thought........

Well, perhaps you can seek further assistance on this forum to see how it can come to pass. If you find it to hard to figure out who to contact, ask in any post if someone can help you talk to the right Administrator. State your intentions, and say it was suggested by another forum member. If all else fails get back to me and I will try to figure out who best to ask.

You keep strong, and focused, but don't forget God really wants you to have fun as you are growing up, so don't get to serious, where it prevents you from having fun with friends etc..

Perhaps someday you will run for the president of the United States. So stay balanced, like George Bush.

An adult telling a kid how kids think? ...:)

You're trying to provide instruction?

Granted, I haven't looked yet. The instruction hit me as ironic and gave me a laugh.

Hi! Looked at your site. Great job.

You might consider dropping the message board in favor of the blog. Many advantages to blogging...:) Like what? Start a conservative-kids alliance of blogs...;) Like Hugh Hewitt and his Northern Alliance.

Also, the other person, who I suddenly cannot remember their handle...rats...anyway, they had good advice on leading into a subject and providing a frame of reference for your subject. Other good ideas too. You cover 9-11 happened. And things to do in response. Now address why it happened and ideas to help prevent it from happening again. (hint: what is the President doing to prevent it?)

Favorite line: "Email a lib and tell them how stupid they are!"...LOL

Um, you may want to tone that rhetoric down a bit although they surely deserve it. Think diplomacy.

Keep at it, you're doing good! Yeah for home schooling!!!!!

For what it's worth, my browser, Netscape, quit 3 times when I tried to access your site.
I got it to load on IE, though.

Good job on your site!
