The crowds in the auditorium had been quieted. Jim Lehrer had spent 15 minutes warning them: say one word, and you die.
Americans by the 10s of millions were glued to their television sets for the first in the long-awaited debates between George W. Bush, Leader of the Free World, and John Frankfurter Kerry, weenie from the People's Republic of Massachusetts. (pass the Heinz, please)
"Hush in the auditorium. The candidates are entering."
Or were they???????
One was, that's for sure. The Leader of the Free World. One George Walker Bush: President of the United States of America, and Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces. He walked onto stage at the proper time...
And he kept on walking...
In fact, the President had to walk nearly all the way across the stage before the newly coiffed, freshly manicured dog from Massachusetts decided he would finally deign to share the stage with "this lowlife...this man who didn't even win any fake medals in Vietnam, afterall."
Yes. President George W. Bush -- Leader of the Free World, and John Kerry's Commander-in-Chief -- was made to walk nearly the full width of that stage in order to meet the BIG dog. The ALPHA dog. And shake his paw.
Kerry may think his little ploy worked. He may think that by doing what he did he subconsiously planted a KERRY is ALPHA, Bush is Beta image in the subconscious minds of all America.
All he succeeded in doing for this blogger is proving yet again what a dirty dog he really is.
In this generation's words: Hugh Ross rocks!
Aim Higher I noticed it, the fact that our gracious President was made to walk that far, in order to shake hands with that liberal american traitor....its shameful even now to think about .. yuck that liar traitor Kerry and his manicured nails....
I know he's a newbie, and I'm glad there are some folks out there that can catch this sort of thing.
He got me though. President Bush looked unpresidential, and, at least in *this* town, image is reality.
And nobody in here loves him more than I do.
I cannot believe President Bush went out there like that. I've seen him a whole lot better and for this he should have been better than even THAT!
Just being fair and balanced here. < cough > ;^)
You misunderstand. I bumped that to you also because your post was one of the few mentioned in that DU thread.
Well that's ok then. So Sorry.
Ta-RAH-zuh probably was chewing nicorette gum because she can't go 90 minutes without a cig.
After they kissed, the both turned their backs to the audience. That was weird. Like they had to wipe of the cooties.
Her cud.
Click the link to swap cud with Teraayzuh!
I agree...I love his web site....just full of truth goodies!!! ;o)
Nice pic! If Kerry wasn't there I think she would just fall over--the expression on her face never changing.
I thought it was an aggressive move on Bush's part. Guess everyone sees it different.
Aim Higher: Welcome to Free Republic
Nowhere, but to simply dismiss the post that lowbridge put up is rather naive. Aim Higher gets around it seems.
Well, someone using the nomenclature Aim Higher has been roaming around a certain other site. That ain't no crime but it is curious.
Horse-Face talks to everyone with the Boston Snobbery drawl. If he'd tried to talk that way growing up on an Army base, he'd have been on first name basis with the Dentists from having to see them so often.
roflol!
i THOUGHT Bill and Hillary were bad enough-but I'm afraid Kerry is more dangerous!
DU lurkers?
That's okay. They are known, or easy to identify.
Web Server has a thing called "webinator" -- just look at the referral url (DU), see the host IP of the client at FR, and then do a cross index search on the FR customer cookie (IP address, date, time and duration of visits).... and wala... DU Lurker identified... and can be used and manipulated.
2U DU folks... Why don't you go over and be a human shield for Al Zarkowie?
My husband and I commented on that very thing watching him, and I see him do that often. My husband made the Hindu statement the night of the debates when I remarked on the gesture you refer to.
Well said my friend.
