"how come he has a honorable discharge certificate on his website? Dated 1978?"
===
He does? I didn't know. But then why did he need another one in 2001?
I thought the only one public is from 2001.

What is missing though is an actual dd214, only a dd215. If we can get his actual dd214, not the one releasing him from basic or active duty but the one releasing him from all service it would answer alot of questions. I have a feeling that in fact he was oth or even a dishonrable, although the latter is unlikely without serving time(which may have happened)
Would someone please tell me where I can find it? The closest I've come to it is a DD-215 that was filled out in March 2001. That is not the same thing as an Honorable Discharge. I'm beginning to think this is a hoax.
I looked at the DD-215. I do not see anything on there that changes his discharge status. It just makes some corrections to his medals, that are indicated on the form.
I do believe that he his hiding a lot of things.
Regardless, if he does not sign the 180, his records cannot be released, period.
My understanding is the AP suit is that the President did sign the 180. The suit alleges that the AP filed a FOIA, but the governement did not released all the records requested under their FOIA request.
