Betsy Newmark had "blogger withdrawal" because Blogger would not let her post all day. I had "Betsy withdrawal" because Blogger would not let her post all day. She has lots of good stuff up, so check her out.
The words of this Democrat posted at Betsy's Page probably say what many Democrats are thinking.
Speaking as an embarrassed and fed-up Democrat, I have to say to the national leaders of my own party: What were you thinking when you nominated this man!?
Is there really no one better than this that the Democratic Party can offer to the American people to lead us in time of war?
Well, yes, there is. The Democratic Party could have nominated Joe Lieberman. The Democratic Party could have chosen a candidate who would help unite the country in the prosecution of a war forced on us by cruel and ambitious enemies and then put forward the Democratic program for keeping America a decent place for people who havent got great stock options.
Instead, the Democratic Party has nominated a man who has spent his whole career attacking Americans who actually fight for their country, provoking divisiveness during wartime for his own political gain, and voting with absolute consistency to strip America of the means of defending ourselves against our enemies.
What were the Democratic Party leaders thinking?
Not of Americas good, thats for sure.

LIEBERMAN IS A VERY DECENT GUY A TRUE AMERICAN AND I LIKE HIM. Maybe once upon a time he was, and maybe he'd like to be again, but he morally bankrupted himself by associating himself with Al Gore. Lieberman proved himself then to be a craven phony-baloney.

Place this Kerry nomination at the feet of Mc Auliffe.
He who presided over "one Bush at at time" in Florida with Jebb Bush and got beat, came to realize that accepted campaign strategies won't do. Mc Auliffe then started a two year hate Bush campaign and on top of it split up the country, (see Edward's announcement) In the Iowa primaries the way front favorite and true Democrat Howard Dean announced his intention to fire
Mc Auliffe.
And look what followed, the media darling Dean suddenly turned media outcast, Kerry, way behind came up with a $6.5 million Teresa backed loan to smear and dismantle Howard Dean.
The rest is history and is set to play out come Nov.2, 2004.
Mc Auliffe's record: Losing the Senate, Jebb Bush, Gore, and coming up: Kerry.

NONETHELESS HE STANDS BEHIND HIS WORDS, AND BELIEVES THAT GETTING SADAM WAS THE RIGHT THING.
UNLIKE KERRY WHO STICKS HIS WET FINGER IN THE AIR AND FEELS WRONGLY WHERE THE WIND IS BLOWING.
THIS WIND IS BLOWING ALRIGHT, AND IS BLOWING WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE.
GORE IS COMPLETE IMBECIL, HE IS DEAD POLITICALLY AND JUS BARKS AND BARKS. THE SAYINGF GOES, A BARKING DOG DOESN'T BITE.
