Founder of New Iraq Veterans Against War (And For Peace) Promotes Violence
Grassboots.org ^ | 9/19/04 | David Shedlock

Michael Hoffman, of the Iraq Veterans Against the War, recently interviewed on Fox News, advocates the same violence promoted by Malcom X and finds friends among Marxist Socialists. In his strange interview on the Fox News Oreilly Factor, Hoffman said he opposed the war before it started because he knew that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. Now just how did he know that since even current opponents of the war agreed with the President before the war that Iraq had WMDs?...

As much as I don't like OReilly he completely shredded this guy. Hoffman came off as looking uninformed and unintelligent.

Doesn`t surprise me since his buddy, Kerry advocated the murder of congressmen.

This new guy Hoffman is breathtakingly stupid, and has delusions of adequacy, IMO. The left canNOT come up with ONE new or original idea, they HAVE to "harken" back (intentional misspelling) to old issues, old wars, because they don't have anything new to say.

Geez, if I were a Dem (shudder) and my party's standard-bearers were sKerry, Gore, Harken, Wilson, "Swimmer" Kennedy, Sharpton, Dean, Wesley "Unblinky" Clark, and Kucinich, I'd be almost suicidal now too. What they lack in intelligence, however, they make up in secular zeal.

The guy on FoxNews is an idiot.

He claimed one of his reasons for going into Iraq AT THE TIME of the INITIAL military campaign was that there were no WMDs.

It was obvious he was lying.

In all the hullabaloo regarding WMD's, there was one consistant voice that declared no WMD's. That was Hans Blix of the UN inspection team. He probably used this as a means to further his view that inspections were a vital means of controlling WMD's in Iraq. Another was Scott Ritter. In both cases, the messenger was derided as well as the message, but it has to be acknowledged they were right.

I've met socialists, marxists, anarchists, and democrats who are in the military... Mostly in the Navy... and all of them enlisted, fresh out of high school.

I always figured they'd outgrow it.

Interesting that an abusive post to me, removed by the moderator, still shows up on my pings. Whassup with these "seagull posters" (fly in, make a lot of squawking noise, cr*p all over everything, and then fly away) who post more than a YEAR after a thread is over, anyway?
