Discovery hearing set as jurors deliberate for ninth day

A request by the prosecution in the David Westerfield kidnap-murder trial to obtain more evidence or information, originally scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. hearing, has been vacated.

Word of the hearing's cancellation was relayed to media representatives shortly after 10 a.m. today.

The subject of the discovery motion filed by lead prosecutor Jeff Dusek was not disclosed. No reason was given for the hearing's cancellation.

Today is the ninth day of deliberation by jurors. Today's deliberating session began at 9:07 a.m., according to a public information officer.

Westerfield, 50, is accused of the kidnap and murder of 7-year-old Danielle van Dam, who disappeared from her bedroom in her family's Sabre Springs home on Feb. 2.

Just out reading the posts on the other DW threads. Especially the one in BREAKING NEWS.

I am so ashamed of other posters. It is like watching the crowd of women stoning the adulteress. Like watching a school of sharks after chumbait, like watching alligators after a child falls into the river.

THere are those posters that said DW was guilty. Fine. They said they wouldn't gloat if they were right. LIARS, they are feasting on the GLOAT.

This is how it will be. The multitudes will feast on the blood of the innocents. And they will see it as the right thing to do. They will be convinced in their TRUTH, that they are RIGHT. They will be following the KING of EVIL, and worshipping him. They will all be so easily fooled. None of them will believe they are wrong. None would believe they would ever be found doing things like this, but they will.

Well, it has already started. Didn't start with DW and won't end their either.
But this crowd over on Breaking news is satisfying it's BLOODLLUST. They are drooling at the mouth, spewing the lines we have all become familiar with.

Funniest (most ironic) is one poster talking about how WE posters just kept going in circles repeating the same tired phrases over and over.

Then, if you read their posts, that is exactly what they are doing.

If DW did kill Danielle, fine. But I still do not believe he had anything at all to do with it and I will defend that belief until I find proof/valid reasons to believe otherwise.

I will be working on proof supporting his innocence. I still believe the FBI/Swedish group pointed to DW and that is what led to them going after DW. I have gone back and put everything in sequence and can't really blame them for their suspicions.
I do believe that once they locked onto him and believed he did it, that they planted/falsified evidence to make sure they could convict. I believe that is obvious.

May those that committed FALSE ACTS in this case, be found out. May the TRUTH still be revealed. May justice be done for Danielle, in the end.

From my understanding, refrigeration will slow decay on the outside, but not on the inside. (trying not to get gross)

A body can be frozen to help stop decay, but cell degeneration happens when a body is frozen, and is detectable by any forensic expert worth a hill of beans.
