Hoo boy! I made a nice drink; Buffalo Trace Bourbon (2/3) and Cynar (1/3) a splash of Angostura, and Luxardo cherries (2). Happily, I made it as if I had a friend over, so not a double, but a quadruple!
Later, I have two beautiful lamb chops standing by with a large sprig of rosemary for the cast iron pan. Fresh loaf of rustic baguette and fried young spinach.

We are at a place called The Southerner in Saugatuck MI. A plate of fried chicken with Crystal butter, fried catfish, shrimp etouffe, collard greens, bread and butter pickles, and biscuits.
A lovely Manhattan to go with it.

I had my good meal for lunch. Tom kah soup with shrimp, Thai basil chicken at just the right spice level, Misty Withers ginger beer and two shrimp spring rolls. dinner, well, its catch as catch can. maybe a Jack’s frozen pizza and some left over veggies. Draumbuie shot before bed.
Well then we should just call you, t-bone.

Gonna experiment with a taco-flavoured coating for chicken wings. A bit of taco seasoning, corn flake crumbs and split wings oven-baked for about an hour.
I’m a longtime Mountain Dew aficionado, yet I think My. few Zero is the worst of them.
A&W Root Beer and Dr. Pepper are incredible. Just got some Vernor’s Ginger Ale and Squirt Zero. Both very good.
Upgrade your Manhattan? I love a Manhattan, but tried to improve on the best-in-the-world vermouth of Carpano Antica Formula. I’ve found Sfumato, Montenegro, Tempus Fugit Gran Classico Bitters, and Cynar amari as improvements. Try one sometime, and see if it improves your experience.
I favor bourbon in the mix rather than rye. Which is, I’m sure, a personal preference.
