White House staffers have blamed President Joe Biden's dog Commander's biting problems on the unfriendly expressions of Secret Service agents.
The 2-year-old German Shepherd reportedly had his 11th bite of one of the president's key protectors just last week - but is said to be pleasant around West Wing staff.
Secret Service emails obtained by Judicial Watch in July revealed the dog had bitten or threatened at least 10 people, making this the 11th incident involving it.
According to those on Biden's staff, Commander's behavior around the Secret Service doesn't make any sense to them.
Some have suggested that while staffers greet Commander with a smile, Secret Service agents tend to be colder.
'The White House is just a crazy environment for a dog,' an ex-White House official said. 'There are enormous men with guns acting suspiciously hostile everywhere.'
'Everyone loves him,' said a current member of the staff, who claims that workers are often excited to find time to say hello and scratch Commander behind the ears.
'He's always so friendly.'
West Wing staffers told Politico that there was never any sense that Commander was violent and that he's never shown any anger toward them.
'It's shocking that he can be so aggressive,' said staff member claimed. 'I've never seen him like that.'
Similarly, Biden's former German shepherd Major was forced to move away from the White House after he was caught biting agents.
Biden's staff fears the same fate may be dealt to Commander if he continues to show his teeth, with one suggesting the pooch could be sent away by Thanksgiving.
'We do wonder how much longer they can keep him around. At a certain point, it becomes impossible.'

A Golden Retriever would be fine with the environment.
I had a beloved Shepard that became senile. He bit me once, he bit my wife once than a second time. It was not his fault as he was no longer the Shepard that loved us for years. Most reluctantly I had him put down in a merciful manner by the vet. Tears were shed.
Could it be the dog senses that the SS agents don’t really like Biden?
Just because someone is doing the job doesn’t mean they have to like who they are doing it for.
Maybe the pup picks up some feelings of hostility that the agents have toward Puddin’head.

They are lying. Two dogs in Biden White House have done this? It is not the Secret Service’s or the dogs’ fault...
Some years past we had a Beagle that lived in the Nursing Home of our VA Hospital. He was beloved by the patients. The nurses put a red bandana on him. He would visit the patients up and down the halls. He knew that was his job.
Even more oddly he knew when a patient was dying. He would make his normal hall duty visits but come back and stay with the dying patient.

I’m so sorry y’all must put up with Biden’s effed-up dawg. But with an effed-up dawg like Biden himself is, these things must be expected. Y’all know the ropes. Hang in there.

The dog should have been sent away months ago.
The Bidens show their contempt for the “the help” by ignoring this dog’s aggression. They remind me of Bad Pit Bull owners, the kind who don’t give a rip what thei dog does to anyone outside the family.
I dont recommend smiling broadly for that dog. He may take that smile as a grimace or a snarl, with all those human teeth all bared and clenched tight.
I’m sorry....this is a reflection of the owner’s disregard for human beings. The dog belongs in a responsible home or put down.

The dogs name at the VA was Ralph. He just showed up one day and was obviously looking for a home. He must have been someones pet in the past. Ralph made a wise choice and was loved by our patients and he gave the same back. Ralph was a good dog and special in the extreme.

That may be, but a friend of mine whose father has bred GSD for decades said “as a GSD parent, I have a theory about this... My thought is Joe Biden is way worse off than they’re wanting to tell us, so his dog is seeing everything and everyone as a threat, so it’s doing what it’s been bred to do — protect its human. The dog probably senses Joe isn’t capable of protecting himself, and Joe isn’t giving the dog the proper cues to let him know the SS agents are friendlies — that’s on him...

My personal opinion is that Commander was never properly trained, and he’s picking up on Joe’s hatred of his SS detail, and the dog seems them as the “enemy”.
