Gray Narvaez-Dragion, who is transgender and uses they/them pronouns, and their husband, Nyx Narvaez, are going viral on TikTok for claiming fewer than half the guests who RSVP’d attended their $27,000 wedding celebration.
Narvaez-Dragion even accused their mom of deadnaming them on their big day. The Post has reached out to Narvaez-Dragion for comment.
One of their videos — which has gathered over 4 million views — pans around a nearly empty ballroom, where almost no one occupies the reception’s round tables or dance floor. “88 people said yes … not even 40 showed up,” Narvaez-Dragion wrote on the clip, posted this week.

Our wedding cost us $1,500. We had fifty guests attend it. Open bar and hors d’oeuvres (included in the $1500), reception hall included, as well. Great time was had by all.
Of course, this was forty years ago, and in Louisiana.
Many young women expect big ticket weddings. Well in excess of 30k. People spend 100k+ and divorce 2 years later.☺

I got a bit of mocking from one guy
First. I read about a largish study that showed the higher the price of the wedding the higher the chance the marriage would end in divorce.
Second. I think the odds that two mentally ill people will get married and not get divorced is quite small.

LOL! When Mom wanted to call my sister or me, she’d go through all her four sisters’ names before she hit mine or Sis’s. Maybe I’m psychologically damaged, but probably not because of that. ;)
I sort of zoned out when that one broke my mental parser.
But I do know what dead-naming is. It's when your Mom calls you by your full first and middle names. It means yer dead.
