A new national poll suggests Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida topping Democratic President Biden in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election matchup.
However, the same poll suggests that Biden leads former President Trump.
The survey from the Suffolk University and USA Today also indicates that Republican voters would prefer DeSantis over Trump as their standard-bearer in 2024 by double digits. …

*********
You’ll get the chance to vote for DeSantis in 2024 Republican Primaries.
I’ll be supporting the 45th President in those same primaries.

At this point all of that is meaningless.

We have people, even on here who think the media praising DeSantis and presenting him as a “viable alternative” to Trump would continue to do once Trump is out of the way.
They can keep on dreaming.
Once Trump is disposed of, we will find out just how racist, misogynist, and evil DeSantis is. He will be presented as even worse than Trump.
People need to stop paying attention to entities that want to direct their path of understanding where that entity wants it to go, and not where it should go.
And that is the Media.

The word “votes” should be in scare quotes in certain cases.

An near infinite number of the electorate are tired of Trump. There’s those he never got support from, those who took a chance on him in 2016, his strong supporters who are tired of the self sabotage and 2020 … he’s left with the emotional types who can’t focus on issues and strategy. This was all in his hands. The 2020 campaign. Post 2020 election. Leading up to 2022 midterms. Etc. He has done everything possible to drive away thoughtful supporters who know the nation and America First is bigger than one man. The flame out of those who most closely identified with Trump in 2022 competitive elections is a proxy for 2024. He cannot win.
He’s had fair grievances and a strong agenda but his strategy is doomed to failure.
We need to start talking up other potential candidates that are neither Trump or the governor of FL. We don’t believe in coronations… I can’t say it enough. “It’s his turn” is how we got Bob Dole and McCain and Romney and even W.
The media is hyping the FL governor.

Fraud denial, I see.
If there were nearly anywhere close to the number of electorate you claim “are tired of Trump”, then he would have had nobody coming to his rallies months ago.

“We won the house because of President Trump.”
No, we managed to barely win the House despite Trump.
To: Armscor38
The number of Trump-backed candidates who won says otherwise.
Don’t be a fraud denier when it comes to the other ones.

The venues were small and at the PS, many had left while Trump was still speaking. Bernie Sanders drew large crowds but that didn’t translate to enough votes to win.

The dirty campaign continues.
