The only thing I like about it is the reminder to change the batteries in my smoke detectors, but I’m sure there could be other ways to remember that.

The Florida legislatures passed a law getting rid of DST but the US congress must also pass a bill to allow the state to end DST. So far the US congress has not acted.

When I was a very young child, my father read a book to me and my brother called “Windsor Castle” by William Harrison Ainsworth that I re-read as an adult. It is a good and exciting read. I never forgot Herne the Hunter, a good Halloween spook.
