Across America, people of color are exposed to more air pollution than whites from industry, vehicles, construction and many other sources, a new study has found.

Using government air pollution and census data, researchers found that disproportionate numbers of non-white people were exposed to potentially hazardous fine particle pollution from nearly all major U.S. emission sources, regardless of where they live or how much money they make.

The study, published Wednesday in the journal Science Advances, also found that Blacks were the only group disproportionately exposed to each of the pollution sources examined.

Researchers found that on average Black, Hispanic and Asian people were exposed to higher than average levels of fine particle pollution, while white people were subjected to lower than average levels.

“It doesn’t matter how poor, it doesn’t matter how wealthy, the racial disparities exist for all African-Americans and other people of color,” said Paul Mohai, a professor of environmental justice at the University of Michigan who was not involved with the study. He’s researched racial disparities in the distribution of hazardous waste dumps, industrial facilities and air pollution at schools — and why and how these disparities exist. …

Nobody is stopping others from relocating to less polluted areas based on race.

So they’re actually saying that the fine-particle pollution actively seeks out the lungs of blacks, Hispanics and Asians and deliberately avoids whites?? Guess “Smart Pollution” must be the only conclusion, according to their research that is never wrong . . .

And more of those cities are ruled by Democrats.

So much for their claim that it’s “regardless of where they live or how much money they make”.

Democrats and the left have been herding the BIPOC population into big cities to consolidate their power base. It's the stupid herding into a small space that causes the problem. The finger needs to be pointed at the cause...Democrats and leftists. The left feels compelled to build large projects of government subsidized housing, then warehousing lots of the BIPOC community there as dependents of the government tit. Again, point the finger of blame squarely where it belongs...Democrats and the left.

Biden seems intent on bringing back the Obama practice of dropping turds in the punch bowl. He wants to put low income, Section 8 type housing in the middle of high end suburban communities. Biden conflates successful people living in nice homes with "whiteness" as if no BIPOC community member ever enjoys the fruits of success in the form of a nice home in a nice neighborhood.

> More POCs live in cities. <

Bingo. It really is that simple. So a fair title to this article would be: “City dwellers more exposed than other people to air pollution”.

But of course that title wouldn’t increase racial hatred. So it must not be used.

100% geography.

And inner cities have more particulate pollution, by far.

Only an idiot believes this has anything to do with race.

But, Dims are idiots.
