Woman Allegedly Poured Boiling Water on Boyfriend, Posted it on Snapchat This is a pet peeve of mine: The misuse of the word 'allegedly'.
There is nothing alleged about the action that was taken. What is alleged is that the woman is the one who did this horrific act.

If she filmed it, what is being alleged?
I think they overuse the word "alleged" to mean she hasn't been convicted in a court, but it shouldn't mean that there was doubt that she did this if she filmed herself doing it.
