Instagram inspires a lot of unwise behavior.
That’s a fact. The young woman I know is a crazy lib of around 25, unmarried, living at home with her parents, no job, and posing in her underwear on Instagram.
Sometimes people dress oddly for hikes
I was in the Smokies one summer, and a couple came towards us
He was in shorts, hiking boots, and pack, and that was all
So was she, it took considerable effort to keep the eyes... up
Some years ago at Grand Canyon a most lovely young girl was walking backward to a several hundred foot drop off. She was posing for a photo. She had no idea where she was relative to the drop off. I went forward and grabbed her her arm and pulled her away.
Oddly she resisted this. She had no idea how close she was to death. I turned her around and she then looked over the edge. She then was scared in the extreme. She did not thank me, she just ran back to her friends. She was frightened. She was a Chinese tourist.
It was a good day.
... One English...pulchritude
Or Pulchritudinous, adjective
Longest word in the English language for beauty
A harsh and sad reality of life: Given enough time and money, man will always find a way to harm, maim, or kill himself.
“Its hard to fall off your @ss.”

That’s an old picture.
You misread the article, perhaps?
She was standing on grass and lost her footing.
Either way, dangerous living can kill a person.
You misread the article, perhaps?I misread your name but luckily you were thoughtful enough to spend your tagline on clearing that up.Notthereyet (NotThereYet.)
Well, I guess one could say she lived on the Edge.
And, died on the edge.
New York will claim credit in their death statistics since someone in NY has Turkey ancestry.
really really sick but funny. So I have to snort and not laugh out loud.
Hood ornament?
You did a good thing there. I thank you on her behalf.
Bump!
At least she died what she loved doing best.

Falling and screaming hysterically?
That MIGHT have been the only reason.
Better do some research first
I understood SamAdams76 to be saying that what the young woman loved best was having pictures of herself taken so she could post them on social media.
Others like jumping out of planes with parachutes. Occasionally a parachute will fail to open and SPLAT. But, could be said that person died doing what they love to do.
My "dangerous" habit is hiking solo in middle of winter. I'm talking 10+ miles. I'm pretty much the only one out there during those times. Should I slip and break my leg, I might never make it back to the trailhead and will freeze to death. I try to take care that this does not happen. But no guarantees.
I had a close call about 20 years ago when a snowstorm hit in the middle of my hike and I lost track of where I was. I eventually made it back to my car but that was a close call.
