A Kazakhstan woman reportedly was killed Sunday after plummeting more than 100 feet off a cliff in Turkey while posing for a photo to commemorate the end of the local coronavirus lockdown.

To mark the end of quarantine, the adventurer scaled a safety barrier so her friend could snap her standing on the cliff’s edge with majestic waterfalls in the background, News 1 reports. Her celebratory photo op went south when she slipped on the grass and plunged 115 feet to her death in front of her horrified companion.

I know this is a silly point, but who wears a miniskirt, fashion boots, pantyhose and full makeup to hike? As a weekend hiker, that’s not what I or others I pass on the trail with my husband would wear.

I think the narrative is not, “Hey, let’s take a hike. Oh, look, that’s a good spot for a photo!” but rather, “I’ll get all dressed up and look for a scenic backdrop nearby.”
Okay, now THAT makes sense! I know a young woman like that, sadly.
Don’t let Dr. Doom hear about this or he’ll insist on reinstating the lockdown until there is a vaccine for dumbass.
