What? The OP excerpted it. You had nothing to do with it.

FR has had problems in the past over copyright violations from sources which object to having their entire works being copied verbatim and posted on other sites. As a result of a lawsuit (or lawsuits), FR posters have ever since been required to excerpt content from certain sources, and in some cases, only provide links.

The whole point of excerpting is to avoid pesky or malicious lawsuits, and inherent in that is the need to copy the material correctly, without garbling or distorting it.

It makes no sense to complain about "fake news" and then create your own fakery and potentially expose FR to further legal action. FR is too important a resource to take that risk.
