I believe the human trafficking allegation.
People with free time ruin it for all us normal people.
I hate stories without a happy ending
A sure bet is that Keith is light in his flip-flops.
This guy has a personal problem. As for greasy grub, we used to love KFC but recent experience NOT. Appears they let the grease get dirty ?
blows the whistle?
He was quoted as saying, “I am cooperating here.”
...so he runs to the media. That’s a nice way to force government to take action. Bravo.
As a bonus, he gets to reduce his competition in town. Bravo, again.
Then again, unless he had a hidden microphone, he has no real proof of his encounters.
Many years ago, in Austin, I was on a jury for a prostitution sting. The Korean woman said only one thing in English: “Fifty dollars”. Had I not been in a jury room with five housewives in a rush to convict and go home and make dinner, I could have spent hours dissecting this and perhaps showing how the police had done far less than prove their case but the court-appointed defense attorney would have needed to pay me for doing his job for him and I did not want to work for free.
I did tell the prosecuting attornies that I could teach my parrot to say “Fifty dollars” and it would not make my parrot a prostitute. The cops barged in before any act commenced.
Okay. That’s nice. But who do you think needs to be rescued here?
If you don’t want the ‘extracurricular’ services, just say no.
“Here I Come To Save The Day!!”
I’m shocked, shocked!
That there’s Hanky Panky going on here!
Yet he went back 4 times.
He was dedicated, often going 5 or 6 times, crossing every I and dotting every T...but by golly, his years and years of investigating PAID OFF!
It’s kind of strange, but this guy acts as if this is something new. That’s the tone of the article, too.
Can you imagine something like that? Here in Fargo? Oh, my word!
I’m going to assume that most people, including the authorities, knew about this and always have known, but just haven’t done anything about it. I know of a small town in Illinois that had three or four parlors, right downtown, that operated 20 or 30 years. There was no question that they were fronts for prostitition. They were eventually shut down —after 20 or 30 years. This guy might be well-intentioned —human trafficking is no joke —but maybe not. It’s just a strange story.
Trying to muddy the waters about his activities?
The cops are lazy or on the take or both.
Bless his heart
I got news for the world
All prostitutes are not human trafficking
Maybe he’s gay.
Heck, I've been declined sexual favors at a lot more places!
Regards,
“Sexual Favors”? Pretty sure they weren’t offering to do him a favor...
